Sasha here! This week I’m posting pictures of my beautiful self. Gus has been hanging around. He’s like a moth to a flame (I’m the flame you know!).
The peeps were busy doing house stuff and we cats either helped or tried to stay out of the way or maybe “indaway.”
Gus cleaned me up for my picture taking!
We also like the upstairs-downstairs seating on this loveseat. One of us has a window view.
We all hope you have a great weekend. We are getting a houseguest so Sasha is checking all her hidey spots.
Window views to cats are as valuable as water views are to peeps. Paw waves from a sunny spot by RC Cat.

Hopefully Sasha will still be close to the handsome valet, aka Gus.

I think she will. It’s been a year now.

Twogether. Have they ever had a fight?

All the time but they make up quickly.

Love the photos! Last photo is my favorite. The upstairs-downstairs seating makes a lovely photo of you two! You looked right at the Lady Peep for that click!

She woke us to take this picture so we look a little sleepy. She will get our customary bill for modeling!

Love is always in the air with Gus and Sasha…..so cute! Company coming? Oh boy – that will be fun.
Hugs, Pam

It will be fun for everyone except Sasha who doesn’t like company. She already has her hidey holes cleaned up and ready.

They had a big fight yesterday. Don’t know what it was about but I’m sure Gus got tired of bossy Sasha so he nipped her ear (which is his customary “stop it” signal). That didn’t make her happy and before you knew it they were rolling around and fur was flying. Then it was all over. I caught them canoodling an hour later.

So theirs is a passionate romance! Glad they got over it – they seem so connected 🙂

Sasha is very bossy. Sometimes I think Gus has enough of it and gives a smack down. (Actually it’s an ear bite.)

Lovers’ tiff! But it sounds like they make it up then.

They did. As wound up as Sasha gets, she doesn’t stay angry long. She gives him a “talk to the paw” and goes on with life.

Gus seems to have sleepy eyes from his sunny window seat – I know I would in that comfy chair and the sun streaming in.

I woke him up and he doesn’t wake up easy.

It’s a short visit with a house project involved so who knows what will happen.

Lovers indeed! Sasha, you have a real sweetheart in Gus. He takes good care of you, it seems. You, your buddies and the peeps all have a good weekend!

I love seeing the two of them together. Do they ever have lover’s spats?

Yes and they are doosies! He tried to mount her a while back. Well! She wasn’t having any of that and said so in no uncertain terms (and I don’t speak cat!).

I never had two cats that liked each other. One would want to be friends, but the other not so much. Dolly tolerated Henry. And now Teddy simply ignores Jack.

I’ve had cats that liked each other but none that slept together or cuddled. This is all new to me. I’m fascinated.

Don’t you wish they could talk and tell you what’s up with them and why?

Beats me, Kate. I would have thought that time SLOWED DOWN during pandemics. Instead, it seems to have revved up!

It’s funny how not being able to do anything doesn’t affect how fast the time flies.

How’s the diet going? Or should I not ask?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Umm…well…okay maybe. The peep eliminated free standing kibble but gives a little at meal time. Only Gracie gets a midday snack although Morgan sometimes finishes it. The grays don’t need the diet. One side effect is that all the wet food goes. Before, there were always some that got dried out and old (old is defined as an hour old). Now everything wet gets eaten. It’s going to be a long slow process.
