Gracie: This is me supervising the office desk. That’s the peep’s mahjongg card in the background. I wonder if it would be lucky if I barfed on it.
Gracie here. It’s been a quiet week. Maybe it seems quiet after all the activity in early July. Gus seems to be ok. No sign of another UTI. Sasha has accepted him again. The funny vet smell must be gone.
The robin that was nesting under the deck structure had babies. Pictures on Sunday’s post. It’s pretty exciting and mama robin is a good mama.
Here are some new pictures of the gang.

Here is Morgan sort of napping on the guitar chair in the music room. We rarely feature Morgan because it’s hard to get an interesting picture of her.

This is Sasha trying to nap (dang camera) in one of her favorite spots. Despite her rumpled fur, she is groomed daily!
Everyone here wishes you all a great weekend.

A nice quiet week has to be a relief for all concerned 🙂 The cats are all gorgeous, as always! Looking forward to hearing about mama and baby birds!

Sick pets are very upsetting. They can’t tell you what’s wrong. So grateful all is well at the moment!

Such great news about Mama Robin and her kids! She picked a great place. I’d think she fooled the usual predators. The Sassy Cats look content and quiet is certainly a good thing!

The robins are a treat. At least they are at a place that we seldom walk through which makes all of us, birds and humans, happy!

Nice when all is well in the world (and the house!). Baby birds are pretty exciting but soon they will fly off and all the excitement will be over. You all can make your OWN excitement then. It’s nice when everything is peaceful and calm too isn’t it.
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

Yes, I often turn the news off just because. The robin babies are exciting although you can’t always see them. When mama is feeding those little heads pop up with open beaks!

Oh Gracie, so funny. Not sure your barf would bring good luck, but you would know better than I do. Great pics of all the gang though.

Gracie: The peep said I’m not allowed to barf on her card. He he….

Glad everything is status quo – Robin babies sound cute and I’ll look forward to the photos. They are all beak and have to grow into their bright-yellow beak. 🙂

With the position of the nest all you can see is beak and only when mama is feeding them!

That’s what happened with my mama cardinal. The nest was so embedded in the barberry bush that I only saw beaks … hers and the babies.

I am too. It took a while for Sasha to warm up to him.

The birds are so damn cute. Mama made the nest in the worst possible place to take pictures (but in the best place to protect her crew from marauding cats.)

Always love seeing pictures of your catkids. Good to hear Gracie is barf-free.

For the moment. Found a hairball today but everyone is denying that it’s theirs.

YAY! Mama’s baby robins made it. This is fantastic news. Almost as good as the vet smell fading on Gus, I mean.

I saw 3 babies. Because of the location they are hard to see and hard to photograph. Mama picked a good nesting site.
