Gracie here. Do you remember last week when I told you the peep brought fabric samples home for new furniture and told me to barf on them to see if they clean easily? (She says she was kidding.) Well, I did. I barfed on one and the peep was impressed with how clean it got with only water. I know she appreciated it but all the fabrics are out of my reach now.
We had snow for maybe twelve hours. The flying flakes were lovely and all of us cats were on windowsills watching it. We took a nap and everything turned to rain. Just like that, it was gone.
The peep was having trouble inserting pictures. WordPress was not happy with her. .

Here we are, all except Morgan, jockeying for the best spot. That black blob is the back of the peep’s office chair.
Have a great weekend!
Gracie, you aren’t kidding about all of you having fun watching the snow falling! How very helpful of you to barf on that fabric for the Lady Peep! I bet that was very helpful to her in picking out furniture fabric 🙂

It was. She knows how to clean it now.

That’s a good thing to know 🙂

Well Gracie, I just don’t know what to say. You surely knew your Peep wasn’t really hoping you’d barf on the furniture, but now you’ve warned her. I’m sure she’ll be more clear with her instructions in the future!

Probably not. Peep is a slow learner.

Your snowy backyard looks like our snowy backyard. I like the muted colors, but also am not sure how much more snow I want to see.

Not much more for me! I’m good for spring now.

I LOVE the photo of everyone peering out the window.

It’s where they spend a lot of time except for the after meal naps and before meal naps and between meal naps. Sometimes the nap is on the windowsill.

Gracie, I am impressed that you assisted your Mom in selecting material. I wonder if she is considering the one that cleaned up so well. Lovely wintry view. Those high up windows are awesome… can see it all!

The one I targeted isn’t her fave but it’s still in the running.

It’s a beautiful view of the snow you guys have. Your peep might need your help with the pics. next time Gracie, if she’s still having trouble. But they look good to me. And it was very nice of you to help her out by barfing! What would she do without you?

I know. She really needs me! 🙂

The snow is pretty. We don’t get much here in Tenn and when we do, it never lasts long. Guess that is a good thing as no snow shoveling is required. My Misty threw up this week also, but I think it may be due to her chemo pills. She did manage to christen the new duvet.

They prefer to barf on new things. It is a cat christening.

How efficient to have a cat that barfs on command! haha
Keep loving those kitties!

There is very little they do on command but this week barfing was one of them.

You are so darn sweet to be willing to puke on command. 🙂

He he, I’m the best. Very talented! This morning I made the peep give me rotisserie chicken, lots of it, which I promptly threw up.

Atta girl Gracie, taking the Peep literally and barfing on command. Too bad now that you’ve christened that chair and it’s off limits now. I feel for you – find another chair so you don’t lose your touch!

It’s only the fabric sample that’s off limits. You can’t make a chair off limits to a cat! 🙂

This is true Gracie – what was I thinking?

Good job Gracie. You’re so helpful. We had a snow storm yesterday. This is only our second since November, so I shouldn’t complain.

Our snow, the first of the winter, was gone in hours. That made the peep happy!

Gracie it was very nice of you to be the one to test out those fabrics for your Mom. A demonstration was the only way she would ever REALLY know about how easy the fabrics were to clean! Still no snow here but I would love to sit on the back of the sofa and watch the flakes float by. My Dad says he doesn’t think we’ll have snow this year – I wouldn’t mind a few “conversational” snows!
Hugs, Teddy

A “conversational” snow? Never heard it referred to like that!

Weird thing is I have no idea where I picked that term up but I DO remember people referring to a “light and almost invisible and not worth mentioning snow” as a conversational snow long ago.

The best way to enjoy snow is being all cozy inside looking out at it.

Yes and not having to go out in it!

Way to go on the chair fabric evaluation! Your snow pic is beautiful. We’re waiting for this weekend’s storm but are more concerned with the sub-zero temps expected to follow it. Nature seems hell bent on making things miserable. Hope you have a great weekend.

The fabric was a worry for a while. Don’t what I’d say when I returned it with a spot. You can’t see anything and I’m not taking any more chances. Out of reach!

Gracie, how good of you to be so accommodating about barfing on the fabric samples. Well done. And what a lovely spot you all have for watching what’s going on outside. Almost, but not quite as good, as the porch where you lived before! At least it’s a four season spot.

I am so impressed with the targeted barfing. But does this mean that any piece of furniture covered in that fabric will become the barf magnet?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Furniture is always a barf magnet unless there is new carpeting. Hardwood flooring not so much.

I experienced what I consider to be the perfect snowfall. It fell and was gorgeous coming down in the air and covering the area in its blanket of white, then melted and disappeared before it had a change to get gray and muddy from snowplows and traffic. Maybe if I had the peaceful view that you have, which wouldn’t have been as quickly touched my humans, I’d wish it would have stuck around longer.
