Doggone peep is pestering us with her phone again!
It’s the peep today. Sasha has a spa day (lucky cat!). We are easing into the holiday weekend here. Not much going on. It was a great week for cat photos. I took 87 thousand pictures and these are the only good ones I have. Sasha will be back next week with stories about her new feeding dish. The jury is out on that.

Well, I think these are great pictures of the two kitties and pre-spa day for Sasha. I wish I looked that good! Send that rainbow my way please. I told a fellow blogger several years ago I aimed to take a photo of a rainbow for my blog as she was always posting them. Every time it storms, I’m so happy it’s over, I don’t think about looking for a rainbow. Labor Day weekend … I’m hoping to leave Summer at the curb soon, even though I’ll regret those words come January! We had multiple rounds of severe weather yesterday and overnight I lost my power (running on the generator right now) and also lost my internet. Internet is back but spotty, but at least I can catch up here … the last time I lost internet after severe weather, I had no internet for four days and was already 14 days behind in Reader. I thought I’d never catch up!

We’ve been reading about the bad weather in Michigan. Fingers crossed your power comes back soon and maybe you’ll see your rainbow. If not, Sasha will send a catnip one your way.

Thanks Sasha – please send some … they confirmed an EF-0 tornado at Memorial Park around the corner from me – the park is littered with trees. My power was restored at 11:00 pm Friday BUT there is an issue as my standby generator won’t turn off so I’m still on generator power. I reported the outage to DTE, They still have 95,000 outages (originally 300,000 as the City of Detroit had an EF-2 tornado.

It’s a mat. In the meantime I’ve seen ceramic bowls that may be a better option. We’ll see how this goes. I’m giving smaller more frequent feedings but there still was one barf this week and Gus wants to eat again too. Argh!
