Sasha the magnificent here. We had visitors this past week so I spent most of the time in the basement. They didn’t stay overnight so I got to romp around and be annoying then. I did a massive barf (four different spots!) to punish the peep but we are buddies again. She says she needs to buy stock in the paper towel company! Whatev!
Gus hung around hoping they’d give him treats. They didn’t. He still enjoyed himself. He has no standards. We are back to normal until the next crew arrives.
In the meantime, I’ll torment the squirrels!

Checking on my kingdom! Gotta keep those squirrels in their place! They like to moon us at the window!
Have a wonderful people-free weekend! Ok maybe not people-free!
Oh Sasha! You are such a diva :) I love to hear from you! Hope your weekend is people-free too :)

The visitors might be cat people, you know, and be good at scritches. Maybe next time try it before you decide.

They are cat people. They have six cats and one dog at home.

Sasha, well you’re glad to be out front and center 100% of the time as usual and not hiding while the guests are here. Tell the Peep to have a special cat treats jar made that has Gus’ name on it, so guests can dig in and throw him a few now and then so he will be in his glory!

Gus let the male peep scratch him before he left. He’s cautious but doesn’t run and hide.

Maybe he is curious as well as cautious? New peeps in the house … must investigate!

He is definitely curious. He’s curious how this new person can work in his favor.

Ha ha – I wasn’t thinking about Gus as an opportunist. :)

Poor Gus. They should have given him some treats for his efforts. Glad it is quiet for you now.

We’ll have to get some urinary tract treats to have on hand.

How lovely that the visitors left you to roam around at night. Very considerate of them. :D

Yep and they weren’t close to each other. I had to quickly run to a new spot to continue. I’m talented!

My pup loves company, but can’t control his excitement. They know they are welcomed!

Gus hangs around and judges their life choices but Sasha prefers the basement.

Sasha, glad you are out of the basement and guarding YOUR kingdom!
I don’t like company either.
Have a Happy Weekend Peeps and Sassy Cats!

Sasha, do you really think Gus has no standards? I think, not that you asked me, he was just being social. I like that in a guy. :)

He snuggled with me so all is well.

You lucky girl, and please remember this the next time he does something you don”t approve of.
Give that furry hottie my best regards.

Well Sasha we have MOSTLY people-free weekends as my human companions have no family near……the closest is my Mom’s sister and she’s even older than my Mom (which sounds impossible but true) and lives a whole state away. Anyway, it’s been quiet – we just keep hoping for some WET – it’s dry and not good. I suppose I should be happy that it’s at least quiet with no invaders but some WET would be nice.
Happy Weekend!
Hugs, Teddy

Oh, Sasha! I think you and I could be “friends” of a sort, each retreating to our respective corners when things get to people-y. I”ll leave the barfing your disapproval strictly to you though. 😉

I can teach you how to barf properly. Never on hardwood floors. Always on cloth, fabric or rug.

That’s the first tenet of The Pet Code, isn’t it? Always barf on the most difficult to clean, easiest to stain soft furnishings 😉.

Yes extra points if there are multiple finishes — sofa down to carpet.

Sasha, it sounds like revenge is real, which I understand. Seems like someone forget whose kingdom they were inviting guests into. Hope the squirrels keep you busy today.
