Gracie here. The peeps had a lot going on this week so us cats were mostly on our own. That would work better if we had opposable thumbs but we made the best of it.
Gus and Sasha continued to be…well…Gus and Sasha. Still canoodling and embarrassing us all.
Morgan is enjoying her new dining spot free from Sasha’s food stealing tactics. She put an ad on Petfinder to see if she can rehome Sasha. The peep shut it down and screamed “goldfish!” That’s become the curse word when we cats do something she doesn’t like. It means in her next life, she’ll have goldfish as pets. Ha! How boring will that be.
We had some nice days when the “cat TV” window was open, and the bird feeder was full. That was a good day.
Today is a rainy, snoozy day. We like one of those every so often. Keeps the commotion down.
Wishing you all a great weekend full of snoozes.

Gracie, your Peep has us blurting out “goldfish!” for anything that needs a curse word! Works quite well!

Gracie here, always makes me see her reading off a teleprompter, like Diane Sawyer. Maybe she missed her calling.
I’m Gracie Crimmins…and here is the news. 🙂

Love your thoughts for the “Coffee Cats”. Been loving cats all my life, only have two right now, Bitsy and Mini. Keep them coming. (84 yrs. young)

Thanks for the update. Gus and Sasha are so cute together. I agree that the goldfish would be boring. 🙂

I could swear the shadow on the recliner arm has an almost cat face on it! Love the Goldfish exclamation…around the Ranch when Mom’s trying to be ladylike i.e. not swearing like a drunken sailor, she’ll say fish sticks. But most of the time she’s not very ladylike. 😈 Hope you enjoy your rainy day nap but are able to see more bird TV soon.

We are having a great rainy day. Some decisions on bath project but we didn’t have to be anywhere!

Miss Gracie is a very wise cat. Given the choice between Fancy Feast from a can or non-canned rotisserie chicken I know what I’d choose every single time! ❤

For people, she’d put it on a cracker and pass it off as a fancy spread.

Dexter likes to snooze on his face too. Very cute.

I don’t know how that’s comfortable but she does it a lot.

Sasha wouldn’t be happy without Gus. It’s probably going to be more difficult to re-home them together. Guess you will just have to get used to them Miss Gracie!
Congrats to them on the weight loss. And congratulations to the peep for only having to feed them in three different places with 4 different foods?

The the foods change. This week picky Miss Gracie decided that she doesn’t want Fancy Feast (the only wet she’ll eat). She wanted more rotisserie chicken spiked with kibble. Sigh.

Truthfully I’m impressed with Gracie’s dedication to the rotisserie chicken. Zoe would only eat one or two meals from it and then would refuse it for months. Good thing I like it.

Yes we all like it (the peeps not the cats — only Gracie likes it from the cats).

Power washing is incredibly noisy I agree…..and so does Teddy who is too big to fit under a bed until they leave so he just heads to the basement and hibernates. We’ve had a lot of rain here – which makes for lots of EXTRA mowing due to the fast growing grass but I quite like riding around my Queendom on my lawn tractor! Have a good weekend!

Our lawn is much smaller here so my husband uses a battery operated mower and that does the trick. I tried to crawl under the bed and I don’t fit either.

Gus and Sasha do have wide backsides, don’t they? Happy Weekend!

OMG! They are so offended! Gus wants you to know he lost 3 pounds since December and so did Sasha. I removed free access kibble and it made a difference. They said it was the camera angle! 🙂

Maybe Sasha and Gus should think about going on a diet…or find a bigger chair. Nice that they let you nap in comfort in your bed.

Both are on diets and both have lost 3 pounds since December. Sasha says she’s fluffy and Gus says it’s the stupid camera angle.

Did Sasha’s ad get any takers, though?

She’s a beautiful cat so there were some swipes. Other than stealing food and attention, she’s a wonderful cat.

Everyone looks happy and content, and no major dramas. Hooray for a week with no major cat dramas! Enjoy the quiet rainy day today. Feels welcome after a busy week.

It does. We had painters prepping the outside of the house. Power washing for hours. Who knew that was so intrusive! Today is a relief.

Power washing is incredibly loud, and just knowing folks are running around and looking in your windows here and there feels kinda icky. But hopefully the results were worth it.
