Sassy cats – Quiet cat week, hectic people week

My favorite snoozing position.

Gracie here. The peeps had a lot going on this week so us cats were mostly on our own. That would work better if we had opposable thumbs but we made the best of it.

Gus and Sasha continued to be…well…Gus and Sasha. Still canoodling and embarrassing us all.

The peep took this picture looking down at them.

Morgan is enjoying her new dining spot free from Sasha’s food stealing tactics. She put an ad on Petfinder to see if she can rehome Sasha. The peep shut it down and screamed “goldfish!” That’s become the curse word when we cats do something she doesn’t like. It means in her next life, she’ll have goldfish as pets. Ha! How boring will that be.

Gus and Sasha with Alexa watching the outside wildlife!

We had some nice days when the “cat TV” window was open, and the bird feeder was full. That was a good day.

Some naps are best in a recliner!

Today is a rainy, snoozy day. We like one of those every so often. Keeps the commotion down.

Wishing you all a great weekend full of snoozes.

  1. Love your thoughts for the “Coffee Cats”. Been loving cats all my life, only have two right now, Bitsy and Mini. Keep them coming. (84 yrs. young)

  2. Thanks for the update. Gus and Sasha are so cute together. I agree that the goldfish would be boring. 🙂

  3. I could swear the shadow on the recliner arm has an almost cat face on it! Love the Goldfish exclamation…around the Ranch when Mom’s trying to be ladylike i.e. not swearing like a drunken sailor, she’ll say fish sticks. But most of the time she’s not very ladylike. 😈 Hope you enjoy your rainy day nap but are able to see more bird TV soon.

  4. Sasha wouldn’t be happy without Gus. It’s probably going to be more difficult to re-home them together. Guess you will just have to get used to them Miss Gracie!

Congrats to them on the weight loss. And congratulations to the peep for only having to feed them in three different places with 4 different foods?

  5. Power washing is incredibly noisy I agree…..and so does Teddy who is too big to fit under a bed until they leave so he just heads to the basement and hibernates. We’ve had a lot of rain here – which makes for lots of EXTRA mowing due to the fast growing grass but I quite like riding around my Queendom on my lawn tractor!  Have a good weekend!

    Hugs, Pam

    • OMG! They are so offended! Gus wants you to know he lost 3 pounds since December and so did Sasha. I removed free access kibble and it made a difference. They said it was the camera angle! 🙂
