Gracie here! Another week bit the dust. The peep had an eye issue so it was a whiney week for her. (Not her idea of paradise!)
She took cat photos. Cats are difficult to photograph because they sleep. A lot! If we are doing something interesting, we take off or move or worse…give her our butt end. Most of her pictures are taken when we are sleeping. We are perfect models then.
The peep isn’t sure why Sasha likes to sleep like this but she does! All that floofy belly on the floor!
Morgan is just Morgan the perfect cat. Here is her “loaf” position. She’s thinking it’s treat time!
Wishing you all a great weekend with lots of naps and no eye boogers.

Adorable pictures of your adorable cats!

Thanks! They are at an age that most adorable picture are of them sleeping because…well…that’s what they mostly do.

Your sleeping pics are just adorable! LOVE that bunny position. I’ve never seen kitties do that! I think the equivalent in dogs is called a sploot. It always makes me smile.

Sploot! I love that. Sasha is a splooter!

Sorry to hear about your Peep’s stye – it’s been years since I had one but I remember it was painful. Gracie, you and your cat-napping kin are beyond cute and I guess each of you is a perfect angel when your eyes are closed. 🙂

The peep is wishing I was sleeping now. I’m walking all over her computer!

Oh Gracie – you mustn’t do that. I don’t think the Peep got her computer back 100% from the last time you did that because the tech has COVID.

No the tech is coming on Tuesday and she says I have to be “nice.”

Styes just have to run their course in their own time and look ugly doing it. I really have found that a warm wash rag on the stye eye is the best help. Feels good too. Gracie, you all look pretty content and the Lady Peep clicked some sweet pictures. May the Sassy Cats and the Peeps have a peaceful napping kinda weekend.

You are right. I have been “treating” this all week but it picked today to “bubble up” into a head (rather than a swollen lid). We are hosting a holiday breakfast for a group of friends this morning and my stye will be in attendance! Boogers.

Kate I am sorry… so typical though. Sneaky Stye… Boogers is right!
Holiday breakfast… MmmMmm.

It was wonderful. First time I made a French toast casserole. I kept it simple as my guests have various dietary restrictions and it turned out great.

What I’ve always loved about cats when they sleep (other than they’re not getting into trouble if they’re asleep!) is the obvious abandon with which they enjoy their naps. Teddy is really “gone” when he’s asleep. I can do everything but vacuum when he’s sleeping. I wish I could sleep that soundly!
Hugs, Pam

I don’t think they sleep that soundly when they are outside. My cats, especially Sasha, seems to go to a place that defies wake up. Wish I slept like that too.

I think you are all adorable. I hope the Peep’s eye is better.

We are in day 8 of the peep’s weird eyeball. She’s still whining but as long as the rotisserie chicken keeps coming, I’m good. Gus is enjoying hopping on her lap when she does the heat compresses.

Hi, Gracie – I am so sorry to hear that your peep is still having trouble with her eyes. She is very lucky to have you to take over! Hope she is well soon.

It’s better but she still looks like a cyclops.

She has just started to do that in the past 6 months or so.

When cats are asleep, they are out of trouble unless sleeping where they shouldn’t. Have a peaceful weekend!

A sleeping cat is a peaceful cat for sure!

This peep puts the heating pad at the foot of the bed. Last night Zoe left in a huff after trying to bite me through the down comforter and throw – you know, because she couldn’t find the warm spot because I never put the heating pad there at the foot of the bed.
Anyway, cats are goofy. I love your goofy bunch.

You didn’t turn the heating pad on? I have it on all the time. There always seems to be a cat in that basket. Mostly Gracie but I’ve seen others.

It was on but it shuts off automatically. So when I came to bed I moved her out of my spot and turned on the heating pad, then patted it and told her the spot would be warm in a minute. But no, the warm spot wasn’t there and so I should be bit.

None of my cats sleep like Sasha. I wish they did, it’s so cute!

Sasha is a chubster and I think it may feel good. If she was her proper weight, she may not do it.

I’m glad you can still see well enough to take photos. Hope the eye gets better quickly.

Sasha’s picture was a little blurred (all of them were — I took 5) but the rest are ok. With cats you get what you get.

Great photos of beautiful cats. We all know they are truly in charge.
I hope your eye improves for you.

It’s the first time I got a shot of Sasha’s bunny pose. It’s a little blurred but she doesn’t do it all the time so I have to take what I can get.

They have their nap times — morning, noon and night! Except for food time.

Morgan looks like you’d better give treats or the consequences will be dire.

Morgan is the sweetest and least aggressive of the bunch followed closely by Gus. It’s the other two you have to sleep with one eye open if you cross them.
