Gracie here. Not too much going on. Gus had his ears cleaned again. What a wuss. He hollered a lot but the peep is not going through another ear infection with him!
I had the barfies most of the week. One day it was the peep’s office chair. It’s a fabric chair that can’t be taken apart to clean. She bought a new product and it’s been working. The barf stain was white which worried the peep. She was afraid it had bleached the black fabric. After two treatments of the stuff, it’s very faint and nothing was bleached out. One more treatment and you won’t see it at all (but I’ll know it’s there!).
The peep bought a black towel to cover the chair overnight which is when I get the barfies.
No Halloweeners here and the pumpkins on the front porch are getting soft. The peep puts them in the back wooded area for the critters. If she doesn’t hurry, they will be pumpkin mush! We are into holiday season. That’s good reason to snooze. Wake me when it’s over or Chewy delivers. Whichever comes first!
Have a great weekend!

I hope your stomach feels better soon, Gracie! And that Gus is calmed down from his ear cleaning 🙂

It’s almost time for this week’s ear cleaning so Gus will get all annoyed again but his ears are getting better.

That’s good anyway!

Gracie, ask mom to make you a barf bag … you are such a smart kitty, you can show off to the others how you use it. On the other hand, since the Peep bought a towel to cover the chair seat, I guess you don’t want that purchase to go to waste. Hope the barfies stop soon Gracie.

The barfied are cyclical. I’ve been like this for 12 years so it’s unlikely to stop. Too bad the vets can’t figure it out.

Well hopefully the vets figure it out one day Gracie – perhaps you have a nervous stomach. You are perfect otherwise!

I am perfect! Today I barfed on the new upstairs carpet. Peep not happy.

Oh wow – I can imagine the Peep was not happy. You have to learn how to aim better to help out the Peep – otherwise of course you’re perfect Gracie!

Well, Gracie, you can’t really help that you get the barfies from time to time. I’m sure she understands. The holidays also mean a nice fire for you to lay next to!! Have a good weekend.

Morgan is the fireplace cat. The peep is worried that she’s going to singe her fur!

Glad the chair “treatment” works – adding a “protective towel” is a great idea for possible future barfs. We had very few trick or treaters but more than last year. Mom no longer puts real pumpkins out – we have some plastic ones with lights in them!

We got a metal one this year and will add to that phasing out the real ones. Easier and cheaper in the long run.

Gracie, that box has been around a good long time! The Sassy Cats look like they are all settled in for the weekend. The Lady Peep was good to get GusCat’s ear all cleaned out! We didn’t put any pumpkins outside they would have been history in a couple of days in the heat! It’s delightfully cool here today… ahhh.

I would bet my house on not a drop of puke touching that black towel … but a whole deluge of it splatting on that chair as soon as the towel is moved.

It’s been there all week and so far you are correct!

Happy end of DST. Time to cozy up and enjoy the smells of autumn. Here’s hoping the barfs are few but the treats flow a-plenty.

The barfs are eternal and Gracie isn’t a treat cat. Just rotisserie chicken!

Now that’s what I call a treat!

Our carved pumpkins are getting mushy now too. We have a ceremony wherein we toss them into the ravine behind our house to see how far they’ll roll down the hill. We make our own fun here.

We have too many trees to do that but maybe that’s part of the fun. How far can they make it before they smash into a tree!

Oh yes, we have trees in the way. Smashing pumpkins in any way is fun.

It’s kinda nice to have a little quiet and breathing space before holiday stuff gets in full swing. We’re enjoying some quieter days here too.

Yes, it’s nice. We are getting our vaccines, cleaning the house and other stuff to prepare for the holidays. In two weeks we have another “medical testing” week. Boogers.
