Sassy cats — More pictures

Black and white cats are easier to photograph than gray ones.

Sasha with her favorite stuffed black lab.

Everything she does is adorable.

Sasha: How do you like my selfie?

This is a pin-up shot!

The other cats whine when it’s all about Sasha so here’s Mollie!

She was sleeping so she’s just a little cranky!

And here are the grays — Gracie (front) and Morgan (on windowsill) feeling like chopped liver!  It’s  not  easy  being  gray.

All the primadonnas here wish you a wonderful weekend!

  1. I spent the weekend working like a field hand, but gardening chores had too long been neglected and I guess I’m glad to know we still have it in us to do the work! 🙂 I hope you’ll tell the cats. They look a little pampered and I’m jealous. 🙂

    • I don’t do yard work like I used to. Two hours at the most at a time but I still feel a great sense of accomplishment when I’m done. It just takes me more days to do it now.

  2. You got some great pictures, Kate! Sasha’s selfie is close up and adorable what with that cute nose and whiskers! Mollie is still beautiful even with a bit of a sleep hangover. They are beautiful cats and I certainly enjoy your pictures!

  3. Marvelous pictures of beautiful cats! Although the black cats and the cats with more subdued colors are difficult to photograph, when caught just right they make interesting pictures!

  4. Oh all of them look quite happy and relaxed and lovin’ life! Just the way things should be for a cat. At least every time you grab your camera to take pix they aren’t “belly up” like SOMEONE WHO LIVES HERE IN MY HOUSE is.

    Hugs, Pam

    • Black is tough and sometimes the grays are too. My best one is Mollie the torti. She photographs beautifully but she’s an older cat so all she does is sleep. I have a lot of sleeping pictures!

    • It’s the closest I will get to a dog. It’s very lifelike in person. Scares the bejesus out of visitors. All the cats love to sleep with it. I suspect that has more to do with the soft fluffy covering rather than the dog image.

  5. That second picture is terrific. So hard to get a cat still long enough for a sharply focused close-up
The white must make it easier to catch the entire black and white cat – black dogs are impossible to get a good picture of. Must be the white reflecting light.contrast that makes the black cat hair so lush and luxurious looking
Mollie is giving you the stink eye. The grays are such understated elegance. None of them have to worry about being left out of the beautiful category. Have a great weekend
