It was a busy week. On the nice days the beloved husband and I were outside catching up on yard and pond work. The cats showed no interest preferring to stay inside and rest up (for what I don’t know!).
Here is Morgan yawning her fool head off. Must have been an eventful morning.
Here is Mollie.
And Hazel.
And my sweet friend who watched everything I did at the pond.

I love your cats! and your frog, too! You have a lovely little “zoo” at your house.

Beautiful cats! I love Hazels expression! Looks like she has definite views on the way things should be at her house.

That photo was a rare catch. Normally she’s very timid and somehow her eyes always get flashed in photos. They all have views on how things should be done. Most of Hazel’s views revolved around food.

It’s Splash Day already?
I love the way Morgan has that dark triangle of fur in front of his ears ( Nice texture in that picture) Molly and Hazel are adorable, too.

Morgan’s fur is very interesting. It’s a charcoal color that glows silvery around the edges.

That tuna/sardine martini sounds good to me… gin or vodka?

Cats are sooooo self-indulgent, aren’t they? Love the photos, Kate. The one of Mollie is gorgeous!

Cute post, Kate. Sounds like you made some headway this week . . . despite all those demanding cats waiting to be fed.

I’ve a cat like Hazel. Only she follows outside and gets in the way until I throw down the trowel and feed her.

Hazel would love you. I have been tough. She lost weight and she’s not gaining it back on my watch! I had an overweight cat that went outside. If I put her on a diet she ate more mice and birds.

Yeah, we have to save the birds. My cats are mostly indoors, but I swear, every once in a while a stupid finch will fly straight into a cat’s mouth. Or a dove.

Most of the frogs do have a name and yes I can tell them apart. This was taken a few weeks ago when they were all dark from hibernating all winter so I don’t know which one it is. Yesterday Freckle was with me all day. He (or she) has a big freckle on it’s back. Ali has markings on the jaw that look like alligator teeth. Several others too.

I love the froggy friend. And maybe I’m projecting, but it certainly looks to me like Hazel is starving half to death. I mean, she’s down to skin and bones! And fur. I’m sure it’s mostly fur and she is positively anorexic underneath all that.
