It’s Sasha the magnificent. Interesting week here. We had a very majestic visitor. She came to our front yard and had breakfast. The peep thought she was eating the flowers. After she left, the peep checked and she cleaned up all the kousa dogwood fruit that was on the ground. Great job. Those blobs are annoying. People step on them. They mush and come into the house on shoes. She’s welcome to come back anytime and clean up the front. The next-door neighbor, who has the bestest garden full of flowers, would be a great next stop for dessert. We haven’t seen many deer this summer.
Gus went on a tear at dark o’clock. He was screaming and carrying on. The peep thought something was wrong. Nope. He just decided to get everyone up early. It’s a dreary day here so he didn’t pick a great day to do it. We had an early breakfast though. The peep hopes he’s not learning to manage the house around his schedule. We’ll see.
Have a great weekend and Gus suggests that you get up early! It sets you up for a nice afternoon nap.

Lovely visitor!

Hey Sasha, tell the Peep she should hire her as a new housekeeper. I bet she does windows too. A hunch. :)
PS Please give my love to Gus Crimmins. :)

I had my 6 month physical this morning at 7:05 am. Not sure why anyone wants to be at the doctor’s office at that hour. Far too early. Gracie gets up with the sun, so early in summer, later in winter. Works for me, but still don’t want to have a routine doctor’s appointment before 9 in the future.

I aim for 10 or later but not in the afternoon. Gus was up by 5:30 screaming his fool head off. Dan was already up and gave him his toys (we have to put in drawer overnight because he thinks 3 a.m. is playtime). It only got worse. I thought they may had had a mouse but no, just normal screaming. My car went in today for inspection. It was supposed to be in by 8. It was there at 7:10.

Ummm….no you don’t! Beautiful to look at but they do a lot of damage eating plants and flowerers. We back up to a huge wooded area (with a lot of food for them) so they come “avisiting!”
