Sasha the magnificent here. It was a mostsly good week. No one went to the vet although Gus got his ears cleaned out at home. He doesn’t like that. The peep got a sample pack of kitty ear wipes. They must have been soothing after the poking about because he wasn’t his usual cranky self. There is still the vet visit for Gus’s bad breath in the works.
The peep is trying different feeding methods for my breakfast so I don’t barf. This week it worked. I can’t guarantee next week.
No new photos this week because the peep was doing peep stuff and not focusing on her adorable cats. If she keeps this up, I’ll do a courtesy barf to refocus her. Works every time.
Gus and I apologize to our Canadian friends. We don’t understand what the current hissy fit is about but it’s inappropriate. If I could I’d barf on his shoes.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Apology accepted from a Canadian here. Barf away on his shoes….not that I think it would do any good!

Don’t barf on his shoes . . . barf in his bedroom slippers so he can feel the squish! :D

No barfing is always welcomed. But I completely understand having to throw one in when you’re feeling ignored. We do what we have to do.

The peep said I’ve been better. I don’t want to completely lose my barfing skills though. It took years to perfect my aim.

Glad you’re not barfing. It’s no fun for you or your humans either!

I guess. I like to eat and if I eat fast enough I can steal some of Gus’s meal. :(

That hair s around here too. I don’t get how they scarf down whole bits of kibble then toss them right back up.

Gracie used to barf in her food dish while she was eating!

Congrats on the ear wipes and new food being successful. It’s important to savor these wins.
Personally we think one barfing in the shoe won’t be enough for this guy. We’re counting on you, Sasha to deliver multiple messages and don’t feel obligated to limit locations.

You know how it works. Something that works this week doesn’t work next week. Giving her less at one sitting seems to be working best.

Good goin’ Sasha … I hope keeping your breakfast inside you, not outside you, will continue. I like that patch of sunshine shining through your ear and turning it pink. That’s great Gus can get his ears cleaned and not make a fuss now; now if the other problem could clear up? No Tic Tac Mints for Kitties on Chewy’s site? We had a poodle years ago and he had constant ear infections and had a standing vet appointment every Friday night to get them taken care of and that dog was on medications for its ears as well. It caused a lot of friction between my parents. This Canadian, transplanted to the U.S. at age 10, thanks you and Gus for your thoughtful comment.

I had another cat with chronic otitis. She didn’t go to the vet every week but often. They have better medications now.

That’s good because animals don’t like things poked into their ears as a general rule, so if meds work, that’s good. Peppy our poodle yelped every time we tried to clean his ears at home, so that’s why there was a standing vet appointment.

Thank you guys, for thinking of us Canadians. No apology necessary from you, though. We know you and the peeps don’t support the current administration. ✌️

Dear Sasha,
Do you think a courtesy barf will really refocus her? Hmm. I’m angry at my super. Maybe I’ll try it on him, in the laundry room then pretend it wasn’t me. I’ll tell him its because his karma is down a quart. Thanks for the tip.
Please give my best to Gus who has the cutest ears, wiped or not. See ya next week.

Gracie would be glad to chew on his shoes, if that would help the effort. Glad Sasha is doing better.

She’s been better so I’m thinking she’s just eating too fast. Doesn’t do it for supper.

I want to apologize to Canada and all the good people there too. I am good with you barfing on his shoes and Teddy peeing on them. A joint effort, Sasha! It’s good there was no barfing this week. The Lady Peep is working on it. Good Morning, Sassy Cats… and a Good Morning to the Lady Peep.

Yeah we want to apologize to Canada too…..You can do the barf on the shoes and I’ll handle the pee on the shoes thing. Deal? Sasha glad you were barfless this week….if you get to feeling a little queasy I bet Gus would be happy to put that party leg to work for a little comfort. Happy Friday to all!
Hugs, Teddy (and Pam)

Sasha thinks his litter box needs cleaning or maybe gold plating. She’s thinking of sending a catnip mousie. It always calms her down.
