Sasha the magnificent here. Just a quick one today. The peep has a busy day. (No sense of priorities!) The pesky squirrel has been running across our window ledge again. The place where we nap. It makes us crazy. The fluffy beds go flying and the window has nose prints. I am convinced he is sticking his tongue out and going “na na na na na!” What a doofus. I don’t react as much as Gus does. If Gus had opposable thumbs and could open the window, that squirrel would be history!

You can see my cushion is hanging off the top. It’s supposed to butt up next to the other cushion. Gus did that when he charged the squirrel through the window.
All is good here. Weather was great. The peep had the sliding door open so we could smell the chipmunk poop and the birds. It was glorious.
Have a great weekend full of squirrels, chipmunk poop, bird smells and open doors (with screens of course!) Gotta go! Squirrel is at sliding door! If only I had those thumbs.

Hello again beautiful Kitties! Don’t let those figgety squirels get the best of you. Stick out your tongue at them and say something bold in Kitty talk. That’ll teach ’em! Truth be told, I feed them unshelled peanuts every morning, and as a result, I admit I’m not much of an authority at dealing with pesky intruders! I welcome all who come to my deck, including stray kitties. LuvUGuys . . . .

Squirrels enjoy teasing…..They seem to know Teddy is too huge to chase them when we’re all outside in the yard together…….!

But does Teddy know that? Gus doesn’t understand that the glass window will prevent him from capturing that pesky squirrel!

Good point…..I’ve never told Ted that he’s huge and probably won’t…..he thinks he’s my baby. LOL

I had a bird feeder on the window for awhile, and only the squirrels ever found it. Made the cats crazy to have the squirrels calmly eating away right against the window pane, totally ignoring them. Fun for me to watch. Maybe not so fun for the cats!

I had one of those a long time ago. Hazel would sit inside and bat at the birds eating away.

My fosters would make those cute clicking noises at the squirrels, who didn’t give a hoot about it.

Know this, that squirrel is na na nanaing loud and proud. No wonder your beds went flying, I was started from the photo.

The interesting part is this is a second story window. There is a tree nearby and the squirrel climbs the tree and then walks the outdoor window ledge. Very weird.

I believe squirrels are the original cirque du soleil performers. I’m always stunned by their acrobatic abilities. Second story is impressive.
