Sassy cats — Upside down week

Sasha here. The peep forgot about us today. It’s been a hectic week. The peep’s brother had a health crisis which made her forget everything. That is until Morgan started a new cough sound. The portal to hell will come out but not for a while. She’s going to the mega hell place to meet an specialist but not until February. While the peep is calming down from all the commotion here are some pics.

Gus was watching the ‘hood while I took a nap!

Morgan snoozing on the sofa top

Have a great weekend!

  1. Sorry your holiday turned into a not so jolly-day. Hope your brother will be fine and hope everything ELSE calms down for the new year. Love the ‘toons – I needed a good laugh – been too busy these past two days to even giggle!!!!! Here’s to a BETTER 2026!

    Love, Pam and Teddy too

  2. Good to read the Lady Peep’s brother is “recovering nicely!” Why? WHY? WHY? do big medical events always happen on holidays… it is mind-boggling! Sasha, it was very nice of the Lady Peep to get some pictures together for this post what with all that is going on. And OhMYGosh the poor little ornament… I have enough to worry about without him/her becoming a goner. “Butt wiggle” thing!!! Hahaha. Both of the cartoons are very funny… sitting here all by myself on the couch laughing🤭

  3. Hope your bro is okay. It’s been crazy here, too, with two sisters and their families visiting. The dog and cat love the extra attention, though. So many cookies made. Teen angst from cousins. Family dramas. Plus time in the hospital with a transitioning niece. But still nice to have family visit!

  4. Sasha, why do you think things always happen over Xmas? Like we don’t have enough trying to just be merry. I’m glad the Peep’s bro is better and will keep rootin for Morgan. Happy New Year Sasha. I still think you’ve got it all over Diane Sawyer.

  5. Oh my. I hope the bro & the kitty are doing better. I thought of you when our dog Tre had a health crisis right before Christmas. I was having 12 people here for Christmas Eve dinner, and we almost had to cancel it to bring Tre to an emergency vet. He’d been sick for a week. We brought him to a vet the Monday before, and everything looked to her like he was improving. Then on Tuesday, he declined again. But on Wednesday morning of Christmas Eve, he was better, thank God. He’s doing much better now. I wish Morgan and your bro the best of health.

  6. Hey Kate ~ Hope your brother (and you) (and Morgan) are all hanging in there. Life is such a challenge at times. I never understood people who were “down” at the holidays. Sadly, now I do.

“Tis the season to be jolly. Or not. Keep breathing! This too shall pass.
