Sasha here. I’m in back of the water heater in my hidey spot! Some new peeps invaded my space. Morgan and Gus hung around to see if they came with treats but I took off to my hidey spot. They came with some good smelly stuff but I will keep my distance (unless I see more good smelly stuff or it’s dinner time) until they leave!

The visitor peep brought some delicious smelling sneakers with her. They smelled so good I forgot to run away.
Have a great weekend and I hope you can find some nice smelly sneaks to nap with.
Author’s note: In a very surprising move, Sasha entered the room of the houseguest WHILE THE HOUSEGUEST WAS THERE, just to check out the sneakers. (Houseguest has several pets, many are cats so this may factor in.) This may be progress. Maybe. You are invited as long as your sneaks smell.

Wow! Either Sasha is getting much braver or those sneakers smelled just – mwah! (Chef kiss!)

Probably both. These houseguests were quiet. Not loud talkers or noise makers so she peered out from time to time. Our house is very quiet so when people are here it’s a big difference.

Ah. Well hopefully she is getting a little braver as time goes on. After all, everyone should get to enjoy her presence!

Clearly the guest brought loads of good sniffs and pawsitive juju with her. Bravo, Sasha.

She was out and about (somewhat) more than she usually is. I’m hoping it’s a break through. The visitors were quiet though. Not a lot of noisy talk or moving around.

Wow, Sasha, the lure of stinky sneaks is strong! Maybe the fact that you weren’t murdered on the spot will encourage you to show your gorgeous self more.

I was slinking around a bit. I usually don’t show my face at all but I wanted to know what was going on.

Yes. They have to be checked out for possible rodent dodo.

Well we can tell a lot about things by using our “nose power” so if stinky sneaks are the way to get along with introoders – that’s a good thing. I’m sure the visitors will not be there forever Sasha so enjoy the stinky sneaks while you can!

In the near future I see a new welcome mat at the Peeps’ front door: “You are invited as long as your sneaks smell.” π

The water heater, Sasha! Perfect! So the sneaks were irresistable. How interesting… maybe it is progress. You clicked a fun picture of her with the sneakers… and the house guest was there! I hope the visit went well.

I’m here thinking of the Greta Garbo of felines.
And Sasha…you’ve inspired me to douse my sneaks with baby powder.

Oh, any guests with pets have their bags, purses, and shoes sniffed by our cat and dog. But the animals went especially crazy for the accessories of the one who rode horses!

That would be a really different smell for house pets.

I prefer bacon to sneakers myself. π

I do too. Especially sneakers that have been walking dogs in the heat, or even worse, rain. Stinky!!!!
