Sasha, queen of the universe, here. We are getting house guests next week, so the peeps have been trying to finish up some half-done projects. (Someone needs to explain to us cats why having guests means you have to finish up stuff that sat unfinished for a while. I think the lady peep uses this as an excuse to get stuff done.) This activity interferes with giving us the attention we deserve. We haven’t been brushed all week. That means the vacuum cleaner will be full of cat hair!
I’m not happy about the visitors as this will mean spending my time under the bed or in the basement or some secret place the peep can’t find. It’s hilarious when she’s looking for me and I’m near enough to hear but don’t respond. I’ll make the peeps pay for it someway. Here are some pictures.
Have a great week with no guests, new toys and maybe an old comfortable place too!

Awww, Sasha…people sometimes just do better with a deadline. Here’s hoping the visit won’t be too problematic for you.

There is nothing like visitors to make you get stuff done!

Hi, Sasha – Wishing you, the other cats and the peeps a great week ahead. I hope that the company won’t be too stressful on you and that you will be able to find some excellent hiding places.

Sasha, well at least the cool and colorful kicky sticks help to make up for the impending intruders, or is that not a good trade-off?

Maybe but not sure. We’ll see how annoying they are.

Well maybe more cat grass will be in order then. 🙂

Gus and Sasha are like the guardians to their Château!

Yes they are but in reality they are wusses yelling at intruders from inside the safety of the house.

Good luck with the invasion of the visitors (I bet that’s how the cats think of it anyway!) and if having company means completing projects that needed completing then that’s a GOOD thing!
Hugs, Pam

Yes, it’s a good thing in the long run. Exhausting in the short run!

Ah, Sasha, you are a cutie. That old, “Find me if you can” trick is an oldie but a goodie! It freaks out the humans for a bit but reminds them who’s in charge and to appreciate you. Enjoy the new toys.

I have a few places they don’t know about although I think they figured out the “behind the water heater” spot. I keep them on their toes.

Sweet photos of everyone. I invite guests over to force myself to clean and finish projects. 🙂

Sasha, you are just like my Scout. She hides under the bed when someone visits.

I try to go into the middle so the peep can’t vacuum my hairy spot!

House guests? Clearly the peep didn’t ask you, Queen of the Universe, first. It looks like you got some pretty snazzy kicky sticks, though… not that they make up for the trespassers.

That is the pretty one. The other is neutrals. Boring, but the peep says it’s doesn’t look like junk on the floor.

This is so funny because it’s too TRUE!!!
Good to get the cat’s eye view of such situations!

Yes, we have a good eye for stuff, especially catnip stuff.

You know Sasha, we know you can be quite charming when you want to be so maybe you’ll rethink hiding and play hostess. I think it’s great your Peep is having company. Not too long ago she got hit in the head, and no that’s not why she’s cleaning. I meant that we were all worried about her and now she’s more herself.
And please give my best to Gus. He make me wish I were a cat, he’s that cute.

We had guests last week. The dog always loves guests. The cat is indifferent–unless they have food!

Gus and Morgan are indifferent. In fact, they will sit our and supervise if any work is being done. Sasha no. We’ve never been able to wean her off of fear of strangers.

Sasha, start gathering your supplies in your hidey holes! All you cats are looking handsome, you especially of course 🙂 Yay for new kicky sticks!

Sasha… be brave! On second thought, nope—find your happy-hidey place and settle in! Maybe you could drag your bag with you… for comfort. The Peeps are brave. I can only just barely take guests/visitors in the house overnight. Kicky sticks arrived at a good time. I am enjoying the photos, Sasha 🙂 Sassy Cats, make every moment count while the house is still all yours!

We don’t get visitors for long time frames. This one is for 2 nights and it’s only two people. I’ll deck out my hidey place!

That’s one snazzy kicky stick! Lucky you.

Yes the peep gets new ones twice a year. We all love them and beat the crap out of them! 🙂

Good luck surviving the week of house guests! You can do it…I know you can. And I’m sure you’ll make your person pay big time too.

She will for sure. I’ll wake her up extra early so I can eat before anyone gets up!
