Sasha here: The peep almost forgot to post about us. She’s been busy and we’ve been snoozing. Rainy week but great for a snooze. Here are some pics she took this morning.

This is a holiday weekend in the US. Our weather will be unseasonably cool but hopefully dry. Wishing you all a great weekend no matter what you celebrate. This is Sasha over and out!

Yes, we lost Gracie in October. It was quick (at least from my perspective). She didn’t seem to be herself. I took her to the vet and they saw she was jaundiced. I couldn’t see it because she’s all gray. She was full of fluid in her abdomen. Best course of treatment would give us maybe 3 more months. I couldn’t put her through that. Within 24 hours she was gone. I’ve looked at pictures from 6 months earlier and I didn’t see anything unusual. She had dropped from 8 to 5 pounds when I took her to the vet and was visibly thinner. Still miss her.

I’d say a solid 10 on that loaf position. It’s pretty quiet here considering it is a three-day weekend. Three great pictures of the Sassy Cats! Well done on the slow week for news, Sasha. Over and out!

My new cell phones takes better pictures than my Sony camera. It’s going to be a cool weekend here, coming off a rainy week. Not a great holiday if you have outdoor activities but we don’t. All good.

I love your stories. I had eight cats outside and 2 inside.And two dogs. Six chickens. Lost all of my pets when Helen came though.List house I was living in. And now all I have is two dogs.

We aren’t fans of “liven up” as it usually means inside strangers. The peep promised there won’t be too much of that is summer. If she doesn’t hold to that I’ll barf in her shoes.

It’s Saturday morning and it’s disappointing. Still cloudy and cold (relatively speaking). Cats are keeping an eye on the neighbor ferals.

The fur kids are looking good. Wishing you all a peaceful and dry holiday weekend. Back in Colorado, we’re hoping for some moisture (at least in my neighborhood-they’ve been getting extreme weather on the east side of the metro area).

Somehow, despite threats of showers and drippy spots, we got done today what we planned. Not fun stuff but other stuff. Monday is supposed to be our best day. Here’s hoping.

We are having occasional sprinkles with sunshine mixed in. Quite bizarre. It’s 55 but should be warmer over the weekend. I sure hope so.

We all need a slow news week once in a while to catch our breath. We have ZERO plans for the long weekend other than spending a lot of time on the front porch just relaxing and watching Teddy nap! Happy Memorial Day weekend gang……………
