Morning folks! Sasha here. The peep had a frantic week so I’m giving her a break. That peep needs to get a grip! She lost sight of priorities (which should be us cats and how wonderful we are).

This past summer, when she was trying to get Gus on a healthy diet, she bought different kinds of cat food. The healthy kind, bleah! She’d buy four cans to test it out and see if we liked it. We always ate the four cans. Then she’d buy a case, and we’d turn up our noses. She has been sneaking those rejected foods in with our regular food. She thinks we don’t know but we do. (It’s like sneaking kale into the peep’s food! That would not make her happy.)

Last night we all ate the turkey food that we positively would not touch all summer. None of us like turkey. She won’t buy more but at least she’ll use up what she has. We only eat it mixed with our favorite stuff.

Gus and I had a huge dust up this week. We were screaming and rolling around. Fur was flying. The peep didn’t know what started it nor did she know what to do so she resorted to yelling (like that would help!). Anyway, we made up and Gus washed my face. All is good. (Below is a grooming video from last year! I do like a good face scrub. It’s exfoliating! A lady cat needs to keep her fur healthy!)

We had a spa day – fur brushed, manicures and eye boogers cleared. It was great. (Would have been better with ‘niptinis.) The fireplace is on in the evening. The hearth is a huge heating pad. We love this time of year.

  3. Well Sasha, it’s great having a significant other but an evening stretched out on the hearth on a cold Winter’s night is equally appealing, right? Be kind to the Peep … there are rewards for obedience, think cat nip perhaps?

    • Gus would like the former. When they neutered him they forgot to tell him his sex life is over. He has a love affair with my leg but once in a while he’d like to hump Sasha. She’s not having any of it.

  17. Dear Miss Sasha, you make me almost want to have a cat again. You and Gus are just so sweet together. Your Peeps are lucky to have such adorable kitties – including Morgan the perfect. You may feel free to come visit here whenever you like.

  19. I’m glad the lovers made up. Our kitties are enjoying the radiators on these cold days, and a warm heating pad for Ramsey since he’s new and getting used to things still. Gonna be a cold one this weekend, so stick by the fireplace. That’s my advice.
