It’s me, Gracie! The week flew by again. Nice weather finally and the peep opened up windows. We cats disagreed on who would sit there but in the end we all had a chance. Hoping for more open window days! The peep didn’t take pictures of us fighting over the open window but here’s one with closed windows.
Morgan doesn’t join us on the office window but she does like the upstairs open window (the one without pictures).
Wishing you all a great “open window” weekend!

Hoping for more open window days for your house and ours, Gracie!

Maybe today yet, then it will cool down. Boo!

It is nice after months of closed windows to be able to open one to freshen up the inside of the house! Next week it’s supposed to be in the 70s here for most of the week so it will be an open window week. We’re still getting a lot of wind though…..not too crazy about that part. Spring is springing!

We have wind today and a cold day but it should be nicer tomorrow and the rest of next week. April is an iffy month!

Gracie, you look very content in the first picture. Open windows are great … we had a few days like that this week too – gone with the wind now. 🙂

Sounds good Gracie! Tell mom my first ants have arrived … just five for now, I’m sure the rest will be here shortly!

We haven’t had many this week. The peep says not to say it or they will come back!

Gracie, the peep is right – don’t tempt fate! I didn’t find any today – perhaps those are it for this year? Hardly, just wishful thinking on my part!

It is supposed to be a rainy weekend here so no window whiffies. Have a nice weekend.

It will be cooler so the next whiffies day may be Monday or Tuesday!

An “open window” weekend! Yes! Nothing better in Spring than fresh air from open windows. We will be enjoying open windows and the lanai sliders fully open thanks to a cool front that dropped down yesterday. Have a great weekend Sassy Cats and Peeps!

Next to the window are two tall cat towers so there is enough seating although the one (or sometimes two) that get the window definitely smell the birds better.

It is wonderful to have open windows so indoor cats can enjoy the breezes and smells of the outdoor world. Jack and Sophie have been spending lots of time on the balcony.

I wish I could let my cats on the deck but it’s not totally enclosed. They don’t try to escape but I wouldn’t trust them to not explore.

My balcony is not enclosed but I am on the 9th floor and the cats are smart enough to stay within the railing. A friend who lives on the 2nd floor…one of her cats once jumped off and went exploring. Luckily, she saw him jump and was able to go get him before he wandered too far.

Our deck has a nice set of steps to the ground where all the chipmunks and birds congregate. Too tempting for sure.

But fun for cats and people to watch.

We may finally have weather warm enough to open up for a few hours this weekend. 🤞

We had a nice week up until today but next week is predicted to be in the 70s. That’s the warmest yet. Looking forward to it as are the cats.

So nice to be able to open windows again, though not today!! But we had them open this week too. Nice to air out the house after the colder season. Hiro, our oldest, loves the windows especially.

I’ve been meaning to ask how Hiro is doing. Morgan is less “cat” social so I rarely can get pics with the others but she likes windows.

Hiro is actually doing okay. Once I got him on a regular routine of fluids every other day, he stabilized. He has lost a bit of muscle mass, and he eats well some days, and not much some others, but he’s hanging in there. Pretty good for an 18 year old.
