Sassy cats — It’s a hard-knock life

Poor Sasha. Life is so hard. Being a diva and the queen of the whole world is work!

It’s breakfast time! Move over Gracie! Give me room!

Need an after breakfast nap! So exhausted!

Curling the toesies

Cuddling with her support animal. Only Sasha needs a therapy pet.

Late afternoon cleanup so she’s ready for dinner. One of her devoted subjects does the honor.

Ready for post dinner nap!

All of us wish you a great weekend!

  1. Sasha is absolutely adorable! Her diva attitude and regal demeanor are too cute for words. It’s clear that she leads a demanding life, but she does it with such elegance. The after-breakfast nap photo is simply precious. Thank you, author, for sharing Sasha’s “hard knock life” with us. It brought a smile to my face!

  2. I couldn’t help but smile reading about Sasha, the diva cat who seems to have a tough life! It’s amusing to see how cats can demand attention and space during meal times and then fall asleep right after. The picture of Sasha cuddling with her support animal is adorable! I can see why she might need a therapy pet, being the queen of the whole world is exhausting after all. Thank you, author, for sharing this fun and lighthearted post about Sasha and giving us a glimpse into her life.

    • It’s truly hard. Last night I had to convince it was dinnertime a half hour early. It took major wailing to convince her. We were all fading away. We got food in an nick of time.

  4. I have a couple of friends who manage to live their lives much like Diva Sasha, and somehow I tend to accommodate their persnickety needs. So go Sasha! If you can pull it off, good for you! 🙂

  5. Some have it all figured out!
Molly is complaining she wants an assistant or a pet…they can go return the thrown tennis ball we throw…Molly is baffled why we think she should get off the couch and fetch…after all, the cat never did.

  6. Sasha you are doing a great job of making sure that all the Sassy Cats get dinner on time! You are also doing a great job of getting in your naps, baths and cuddle times. Being Queen of the Whole World is a big responsibility and exhausting. It is the weekend, so you can double up on napping!

    • She does. Last night she presented her head to be cleaned to Morgan who was “like what the heck is this?” Morgan gave it a cleaning. Everyone just does what Sasha wants but she signals dinnertime and all the cats are grateful for that. No one screams like Sasha if it’s a minute late!
