Cats are very basic in how they resolve conflict. They don’t need weapons. They are also quick and everything is done and over with. Here is one of the disagreements between Sasha and Gus.
I’m not sure who won or if anything was accomplished but no cat was harmed. Too prove that here is a photo take afterward.
We all wish you a great weekend!
Sassy cats

Glad the conflict was resolved so quickly! Sasha pulled rank on Gus reminding him he was still a “newbie” in the fam.

He’s laid back and likes to let her think she is in charge. He mostly does what he wants just like the other cats.

Seems like a mild conflict at best. Around here the number of tufts of fur appearing after a bout are the measure of how severe it is. Have a lovely weekend.

There are ginormous hair balls that come off of these kerfuffles! I fear if I get an x-ray of my lungs, it will be full of cat hair!

Do they screech as if they’re being pulled through a knot hole?

Only if someone gets too rough. Then they yell like a little kid!

Oh, yes, that was just playing around. Like hugging for humans. And the table should be for all family to enjoy and aren’t we cats family too? I can’t wait for Thanksgiving!!!!! When my human isn’t looking, I always try to get some turkey! Sasha and Gus should get turkey too, I think. Adorable.

Well they hug a lot! 🙂 They like chicken better than turkey but we’ll see!

Our spat with each other occasionally too. Glad neither of them were harmed and all seems to be OK since 🙂

This happens several times a day for about as long yet they occasionally sleep together. Just like an old married couple! 🙂

Looks like they were having fun. Have a nice weekend.

I think they were. Most of the time Gus will grab Sasha around the neck and start to lick her face. Then it turns into ear biting and all hell breaks loose.

You caught the action perfectly! Superb!

Yes, a nice peaceful rumble followed by a cuddle.

Aww, cute. It’s good that they’re being playful with each other. I enjoyed seeing them in action.
Have a nice weekend.

Their conflicts are mostly over who gets to sit on the ottoman! They never end in aggression.

Too funny… both the cat wrestling and the fact that the cats aren’t allowed on the table… the table with the cat bed on it. You are being played.

I had to put a cat bed on the table so Gus wouldn’t scratch it but it does send the wrong signal.

Enjoyed the videeoh very much! It’s great to see the Sassy Cats interacting. I didn’t see a bit of aggressiveness with Gus and Sasha. It seemed like a friendly tussle and Gus let Sasha think she won… Hahaha. I love the picture of them together on the table where they aren’t allowed! Tickles me.

They do that a couple times a day. It starts with a face washing and ends in a brawl!

That’s the way to resolve conflict. Express our needs. Come to agreement. Make up afterwards. 💕

Awww. They don’t hold grudges that’s for sure

They are at it now. It’s starts with one washing the other’s head. Then it goes downhill from there but nothing too rough.

We have cat wrestling but Heidi who is part Maine coon is getting too big and strong. My husband suggested knitting Tilly a scarf. Yours both look as though they fight in the same weight category.

Their weight is close but Gus is much more fit. That doesn’t stop Sasha from holding her own. I swear she smothers him in fur.

Cat wrestling! Haven’t seen any in ages since I only have one now. Thanks for sharing.
Dog wrestling sounds/ looks even worse, though. Rounds and rounds of bitey-face.

This happens every day. Sometimes multiple times! Cats are more bitey ears. As long as no one gets hurt, it’s ok.

maybe even cat fight are done better by cats than by super models? …oh and we think the catwalk would also look much better with real cats LOL

Better than most models I see today who look like they haven’t eaten in this decade!

Looks more like play than conflict. So cute!!

They are besties. Closer in age than the other two and still full of playfulness. Sasha is the bossy one though.

Why doesn’t that surprise me about Sasha?!

For how terrified she is of strangers (and she still is!), she is very vocal and bossy around here.

It makes you wonder what goes on inside a cat brain. Was it a battle or an exercise class? Are they defying you by lazing on the table or are they showing you how to better decorate your home? Who’s to say

I go with the simple “I wanna do this” theme most of the time. The tussle was around an ottoman that is in front of a window where the holly bushes are full of birds. All the cats love to sit there. Was it about that? Or maybe nothing at all. Gracie races around the house every day. Up the steps, down the steps for 5 minutes. We call it “doing her cardio.” There is no destination. Just a whirling dervish of movement.

I love watching cat wrestling…..everyone has their own technique. LOL
Happy Friday!

Yes and Sasha is a Pillsbury dough boy compared with Gus’s tight firm body. Yet they are pretty evenly matched.
