Hi! It’s Sasha the magnificent! This week the peep took some pictures of Gus playing with his toy worm. Even though we are the same age, Gus is still very playful. I am not. I say my energy for looking gorgeous and running the house! He has a cupcake and a monkey too but prefers his worm. He brought it from the rescue six years ago and refuses to let the peep throw it out! The stuffing is almost all gone and it’s too fragile to wash but he loves it.
My you have a fabulous weekend with your version of the worm!

He is such a handsome boy and looks like he is having so much fun with his worm đ

He loves that thing and it’s in sad shape. I have not been able to find anything similar and he doesn’t take to other toys. He will bat his cupcake around once in a while but the worm was perfect.

Iâm on Team Gus; a reminder of where you came from is good to keep around.

He doesn’t take to toys easily. I’ve always wondered if there was a significance to that toy. He lived in a cat room with 20 cats. When I visited, I took several home made catnip bags and it was a wild orgy so I don’t think any toy lasted long. They may have given it to him as a parting gift. He was a favorite of the volunteers (although I wonder if they say that about all the cats!). He’s a very easy going cat.

Adorable. Love and always nice when the animals can amuse themselves.

I wish Sasha would entertain herself. If she isn’t napping, she’s sticking her butt in my face or screaming her head off!

It’s so cute watching fur kids play with beloved toys. Way to go Gus!

Worm is like a child’s blankie, you don’t get rid of it!

Many of my cats had something. Unfortunately, this must have been a cheap one as it’s just not holding up well (although he’s had it 6 years now!).

Being energetic is good and keeps you young Sasha. I’ll bet the sunbeams creating that nice sun on the floor is giving Gus extra energy!

He’s awake a lot during the day (as Sasha sleeps). He loves his toy and serenades my mahjong group with his wailing. I’m glad he’s active.

Well we all have a “bestie” – and he probably will love that worm the BEST of all forever. Our Angel Sammy loved toys but Teddy has never been a “toy boy” (hahaha). There is one toy he does love – it’s a small red stuffed heart…….don’t even remember where it came from but he comes in from outside and goes straight to the heart and lies on it. I find that kinda sweet! I think it’s VERY sweet that Gus and his worm are besties.
Hugs, Pam

I love, love, love these action photos, Sasha! Please ask the Lady Peep to post some more in the future! I am thinking the Lady Peep must be having to spend time on her knees looking for Worm.

Yes, the worm is in a drawer overnight or he will play with it screaming at 3 a.m.

Ginger kitties have such great personalities. Gus looks like he’s really enjoying himself! Cute how they “hide” stuff from themselves and then “discover” its hiding place.
