Sasha: This is me moments before I was scooped up and stuffed in the portal to hell. See how peaceful I am!

Sasha here. Something terrible happened yesterday. The peep scooped me up and stuffed me in the portal to hell. It was awful and smelled like bad things are coming. I came out at the V-E-T. The first thing that greeted me was a gigantic dog. He was smelling the portal. I told him to bug off but he was fascinated with me (I am gorgeous!). He was 8 feet tall. The peep said he weighed about 80 pounds, but he liked me. He wanted to be friends. I wanted to go home. I was missing Gus.

After they took me back in a room, a new peep touched me all over. It was so embarrassing. There are boundaries! She even stuck a thermo-something up my wazoo. Yikes! (I need to talk to my lawyer!)

There was a lot of chatting. Then the vet peep took me to the back cavern where bad things happen. They poked me to get blood. Then they tried to get me to pee. It didn’t work because I had peed before we left. The peep left me there for a few hours so they could get a sample. She will pay for that. I will stomp on her bladder at 3 a.m. and see how she likes it!

I finally came home. Gus was glad to see me, but he said I smelled funny. Must have been the scent from the peeps who manhandled me. Or maybe the dog.

The portal to hell was not put away. That’s a bad sign. Stay tuned for more nasty happenings. Send catnip.

Editor’s note: Sasha has a lump on her neck. We have seen several veterinarians about removing it and we have found one that we feel comfortable with. She is confident she can do it safely and her price is reasonable. The surgery is on Tuesday and Sasha will be under anesthesia for the procedure. Fingers crossed all goes well.

  7. Sasha, yeah, that was not the best day. But Tuesday you will be on planet Boopiter and you won’t even know what the heck went on! Not much to be done about the portal to hell but I have my fingers crossed and saying prayers that it is a quick procedure and that all is GOOD! And Gus will be waiting at home for you and you can sleep it off. The Peep will need an adult beverage and/or pizza to reset the day.

  8. Sash, I sincerely hope your wazoo feels better today, and yes, we have boundaries. Also, if Rin Tin Tin wants to be friends, let him call you at a more convenient time. As far as the Peep goes, she just wants to make sure you’re not anytime soon going to meet up with Morgan. She loves you Sash. Keep in touch. 🙂

  10. You reminded me of something happened here years ago, Sasha. Not saying that your lump isn’t serious, but Maisie had a lump on her neck that we were keeping an eye on. One day we saw her sister Vivian licking the spot. When she was finished, so was the lump! It never came back after. Here’s hoping you will be good as new real soon.

  13. Sasha we send you extra hugs for your terrible experience at the “Pain Place”. We will be sending tons of POTP stuff to you when you have that “procedure” and we are SURE you will be treated like the Queen you are after you get home from THAT. Treats, hugs, more treats, more hugs, and of course your Gus-man to tell you ALL IS WELL.
