Sassy cats — Chakras, juju, chi (Qi)

Sasha felt off her game this week. Her chakras are of out alignment. Her juju has left the building. Her chi is blocked.

What’s a cat to do? Stretches, naps and a good smackdown. (Nap in progress here.)

What is the meaning of life?

While Sasha contemplates her destiny, Gus is oblivious and having a great snooze. His chakras are just fine.

Sometimes I wish I were a cat. Life seems so much more straight forward.

Today is a rainy day here and we are all rejuvenating our energy. Hope you have a great weekend.

  1. Ahhhh yes. The life of a cat – seems quite appealing sometimes doesn’t it. Gus really makes napping look “easy” (!!). We’ve had a lot of rain lately and it seems Teddy finds rainy days very nap-friendly. Peace reigns in our house – but I know not to trust that it stays that way for long! Happy weekend.

    Hugs, Pam

    • Sleeping like a cat is always my goal. For some reason Sasha was more out of it and vocal this week. Nothing seems to be wrong so I’m blaming it on her chakras.

  2. She cracks me up! She is such a character. We can’t have her out of alignment, without her juju, her vital energy interrupted… !!! I hope she gets rejuvenated. Gus on the other hand… er, paw knows how to prioritize sleep to recharge. I can totally relate to Sasha and Gus is SSNS… not a worry in the world. Kate, that click of Gus is priceless.

  3. Why are men always so oblivious? How they unapologetically fart in their sleep, pretending they didn’t know.

Hope Sash’s chakras straighten themselves out. My juju has been on the fence tell her. She’s not alone.

  4. The mostly rainy week hasn’t made any of feel super energetic. Hopefully Sasha recovers – some nice days coming ahead.

      • We had a mix here, and that’s fine. We need the rain! I don’t mind it much except when I have to walk the dogs.

          • That’s cats. If they didn’t sleep through it all, that would be unusual! Jimmy, one of my fosters, had a dental on Tuesday when we had wild thunderstorms. I picked him up midday in the midst of all of it, and he wasn’t quite out of the anesthesia yet, and that and the thunder freaked him for a bit. Not fun for the poor guy. Sleeping is better.

            • Awww, that’s scary. Most of my cats hate anesthesia because they don’t have control but Hazel was the worst. I couldn’t give her pain meds after her dental because she got wild.
