After the drama of Morgan’s leg earlier in the week, she seems to have recovered nicely. She will have the soft bandage on until Tuesday but it seems to give her some added stability or maybe it was the shot of anti-inflammatory juice. The thing with animals is that you are never quite sure what happened or what worked. In any case this happened yesterday and I don’t think I’ve ever seen all three on the tree at the same time. Gracie is an outlier. Not only doesn’t she like treats, she doesn’t do cat trees. She hears the beat of a different drummer for sure. Her drummer was stalking mousies in the bedroom. Gotta love her!
Save that picture – it may never happen again.
SO cute

This photo is a true winner. Does the magazine “Cat Fancy” still exist? If not, I really sound old. LOL! I think they’d love this photo…like you have spare time to submit photos to periodicals. But it IS a great photo.

Thanks! They rarely cooperate like that!

Morgan is scaling great heights – you should show the vet this picture and say “you do good work!”

I don’t think he’d be happy that she’s climbing at all but she’s a cat. When the bandage comes off, I’ll confine her for a few nights in a room without places to jump up on.

He and you both thought she’d lay low (literally) and not be climbing up high. She must have been feeling good to scamper up there.

What a great shot! I’m glad Morgan is better and Gracie took a walk on the wild side and made it to the cat tree!

That is such a terrific photo! Gracie really missed out… but I guess she had better things to do.

She’s not much for group photos to start with. She will only go on a cat tree if it’s in complete sunshine.

Terrific photo Kate. Nice to have them together. Did Gracie catch her mousie?

Maybe. She’s not saying!

Glad to hear she’s doing better. It drives me crazy not being able to communicate to know what’s up with our pets’ health. I know Morgan and the other kitties are in good hands, though.

They make me crazy sometimes but life would be quiet without them.

Nice that they share. Teddy wouldn’t consider sharing with Jack. Jack tries but Teddy lets him know to keep his distance. Teddy would be quite happy as an only cat.

Yes, surprisingly Gus (the biggest) is half hanging off but seems to be comfortable about it.

Anti-inflammatories are marvelous! But as you say, sometimes you never know what the symptom was with animals, nor which cure worked. But it’s good to see her up on the tree, queen of the new castle.

You make a great point, Kate, how we are not certain with animals, yet they leave us clues. All together on the tree at the same time. Possibly a sign of solidarity? We care about each other? Who knows what a cat thinks.🙂

I was surprised that Morgan got top billing. Normally that’s Gus territory.

Glad that Morgan is doing better . . . paws crossed for her.

She seems to be walking almost normally (or as normal as you can with a big whopping bandage on your leg).

Well…this could explain the re-injury. Maybe she’s been doing some late night practice scales. I wonder if this is their way of adjusting to the new surroundings…sticking close together.

I suspect that the re-injury was a result of slipping on the stairs or a jump down that she shouldn’t have done.
