Nobody sleeps like a cat. They go all in but are alert to any sound
of human opening food of danger. In this house, no one sleeps like Gracie. She’s the only one who doesn’t snore but she likes to sleep head on. Closer up it looks like this.Gracie wishes you all a wonderful weekend!
What a sweetie!

She is…mostly when she’s sleeping.

She’s so pretty! 🙂
I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a cat snore…

It’s a soft breathing sound. Not at all as annoying as a person.

Ah, to sleep as well as Gracie does! I wonder if she gives lessons?

Yes, she is working up her price list as we speak. Perhaps we’ll go on-line with that. Maybe she can do a TED talk.

I remember when my kitty used to snuggle into a sleep like that. I really had to force myself not to wake her up for a cuddle… she was just so dang cute. Gracie looks so peaceful.

Sometimes I just go ahead and give her a head butt. She would do that to me if she wanted to no matter how peacefully I was sleeping.

A first class napper although she doesn’t nap a lot.

I know. Sometimes I’d like to cuddle up with her and nap. She will nap in the crook of my knees.

If I could bottle it and sell it, I’d be rich. Far better the Ambien.

You’d be wealthier than Gates, for sure. And I’d be the first one in line to buy whatever Gracie (and you) would be selling…. 🙂

She’s a closet headbanger, maybe? My dogs sleep in the weirdest positions — body on dog bed, head on floor, for example. It’s like the anti-pillow position.

Morgan likes to hang her head down to sleep too. Not sure why.

I’m sure you would do well with both. We have one grandcat — Nathaniel’s cat named Pockets.

Gracie: Thanks. I trained them well. It took a few hunger strikes but I have them where I want them.

Definitely a head butt into the sofa.

Oh bless her! She’s so lovely.
Maggie can be a deep sleeper too, but she snores. However, she will hear the fridge door open or rustle of the cheese wrapper, and for years the ding of the microwave meant breakfast!

Morgan is best at hearing things in a deep sleep. She can hear a silent cabinet door open when she’s upstairs. (She’s hoping it’s the cabinet with cat food in it.)

Gracie is SO beautiful! We, too, have a cat that sleeps head on. I wonder how they can breathe like that.

It is the breathing I always think about but she’s done that since she came here.

They are angels when they sleep. When they are awake, not always.

Yes, sleeping cats are a symbol for peace. Sometimes…when they are not killing catnip mousies.

She sleeps with her head smashed in the cushion. Usually when I turn the camera on she lifts her sleepy head but she was zonked out here.
