It’s me! Sasha the magnificent! It’s been a couple of crazy weeks. The peep took me to the vet who did the usual nonconsensual groping. I came home with ear drops and a suggestion for different food. The peep who is older than dirt and older than the vet is not convinced it’s a food allergy so she ordered, then cancelled the order for the special food. She may order it again if she can get Gus to agree not to eat it. She says it’s made of gold. Gus says he likes gold. We only eat chicken and beef so she’s working on pinpointing if it’s a specific one or brand. I asked for squirrel flavor but she says they don’t make it. We have pesky squirrels here that I’d love to ship to the cat food factory.
Gus has allergies. He is snorting boogers all over the place. He goes up to the peep and sneezes in her face. It doesn’t make her happy. She has snot hanging on her nose. The windows are snotty too. He is back on his allergy meds so we hope it stops before the entire house is coated. The peep says he is the easiest cat to pill. Just don’t touch his ears or it’s everyone for themselves.
In the meantime, I’ve been searching for my boa for Halloween and creating chaos…so normal. Sending hugs to you all! Hope your weekend isn’t too spooky and filled with only good things (and no ear drops!).

Welcome back Sasha! Sorry to hear Gus has allergies, me too, but I’m not leaving snots on the wondows, so that’s a perk. Hope you found your boa!

Yesterday the peep washed all the cat beds. She said they were snotty. All nice now. We have to work to put our scent back on them.

It sounds like quite the dilemma there. I do hope you get to the bottom of the problem and Gus’ snottiness dries up soon.

He’s on Zyrtec and that seems to work.

It was hidden in the Christmas stuff. Must have used it for New Years Eve.

Kate I was in Marshalls the other day and saw some slow-feeder cat bowls? Have you tried those for Sasha? I never knew such a thing existed, but they were not in the pet aisle but in the housewares/dish section. I’m waiting for spooks to arrive…..and wondering why WordPress says I am adding the first comment, and I can’t read any of the 29 you already have? (or anyone elses) I know my theme (Sela) is old, but it has been ornery lately….

Yes, they didn’t work for her. WP gets touchy sometimes and I never figure it out. My theme is 2011 (Yikes!, that’s old!) but it still going strong.

Aw, I hope you two get lots of treats today! I know the gross feeling, Salem sneezes in my face to wake me up some mornings. It is quite gross.

The meds are working great. Now I have to scrap the windows.

(Something strange with comments … I comment and it’s gone … no other comments appear). A Devil’s Night trick perhaps?

Joni said she had the same issue – leaving a comment, but it disappeared from the screen after writing it for every comment on every blog post. Now I wonder if it had something to do with the little blue dot (which reminds me of the flashing cursor from Windows 98)?

I have no idea what the dot means. I thought it was new and unread posts but you never know.

Sasha – I hope you can find that boa and entertain the trick-or-treaters in style. Stand at the window in the peep’s office and sashay in it!

Fewer Achoos. There’s something so sweet though to hear a cat sneeze. :)

Cat sneezes are very wet and they don’t use their paws the cover.

But as I recall they are cute when they sneeze….like it’s a big surprise. :)

We hope you begin the feel better and your mom can isolate the offending food and that Gus’s allergies calm down. Cat boogers can’t be easy to clean up. We hope you find your boa for tomorrow.

Cat boogers are resistant to cleaning on windows. The peep complains about that a lot.

I know ear drops such, especially those ones right out of the fridge. But I bet your ears feel better, right?

Ears are ok as long as no one starts messing around again!

Well dear Sasha, Teddy and I hope you find your boa…..A glamour queen without a boa is like a…….well……can’t think of anything right now but I’ll get back to you on that. Snotty windows are definitely a no go – our windows aren’t snotty but they are “dusty”…..oops. Here’s to Halloween and as usual we are hoping that the huge hill out front will discourage piles of kids from making the trip up to the front door and we can wind up eating all the Halloween candy ourselves!!!!!!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy

We don’t get any kids. The peep stopped buying candy because she had to eat it! :)

Sasha, LOLing here! This Sassy Cat post needs a big gold star⭐ You are on fire with the updates of life at The Sassy CatHouse! Sasha, just a question… has the Lady Peep tried the food that is refrigerated and sold I am not sure where? I am sure she has tried it all. Just asking. Trust in the Lady Peep, she has an inner voice that taps her on the shoulder and helps her with the Sassy Cat’s issues. I can sympathize with Gus on the snot rockets. My head and nose are stuffy from all the ick blowing around with the blustery Pooh-like wind we are having. You are searching for your boa and Sophie is searching for her purse at the Chatty Cat blog. Do you know Sophie? I think you two could be good friends. That’s a beautiful boa!

I like Sophie. Her purse would go great with my boa. The lady peep says it’s easier to find dog food in the refrigerated places than cat food but she hasn’t tried that yet.
