Sasha here. The peep is cleaning up the yard and doing season transitional things. She took away our heated bed. Mostly we were sleeping next to it because it was too warm. Now it’s gone until October. I can smell chipmunks, squirrels and bird poop in the air. It must be spring! The next door cats are also more active. Sometimes they sit in my kingdom and I yell at them through the glass. They are dense.
It’s time to bring out the summer catnip (is there such a thing? If not, there should be!)
Have a great weekend!

Gus and Sasha are such cuties! And boy, Whiskers has some nerve!

Although Whiskers has a great outdoor life, it’s a tragedy that he wasn’t adopted when he was tnr’d. He’s a great cat and beautiful. This photo doesn’t do him justice. He’s weary of people except for the person who feeds him.

He is very beautiful! It’s sad he doesn’t really have a home.

Awww, love the lovers in the basket. Yes, spring is definitely in the air. Hurray!

Spring has a headache today and stayed in bed for the day but tomorrow should be warm again! π

Well Sasha – if your weather is like ours (a “real feel” of 90 yesterday), I say time to put away the heating pad and just snuggle with Gus, or, as a last resort with the peep. Well bring on the catnip, it’s time for Summer and the cicadas. Don’t eat any of those – they are not treats like mousies. Leave the cicadas for Whiskers. π

We haven’t hit 90 yet but maybe next week. It’s early for that but it is what it is. Better than the cold and the wind.

We have patchy frost for Sunday morning! This roller-coaster weather is amazing – we were 30 degrees colder today than yesterday. I also hope the cold is gone, but for us, the wind remains day after day. It was 35 mph gusts again today.

Today is cool (60s) but it’s warming up tomorrow.

We had a beautiful day today – I hated to come in. The ants have stepped up their arrival – about a dozen today.

I wonder if the outdoor cats are jealous of the indoor cats, and the indoor cats are jealous of the outdoor cats? Me? I’d take inside with a never-ending supply of summer catnip.

Indoor is preferred. So much safer although the next door cats are well taken care of. They are around 6.

He is gorgeous. I don’t know why he couldn’t get a home when he was a kitten.

No heated beds, but it looks like cuddling will provide any heat needed. And those next door cats – they’re just jealous and want to come in and join you.

Last year one of them (Izzie the terrible) pooped in the peeps flower pot. That didn’t make the peep happy.

I think one may need a heating pad on a chilly summer night. Not that the Peep asked me, but yanno?

We can snuzzle with the peep.

Cute cats are cute. Summer catnip is always the best stuff, I hear.

Anything summer (except fireplace fires, we love those) is better!

Aah . . . Spring! Your heating pad is packed away until October . . . and I just boxed up my fuzzy slippers. π
Have a fun weekend yelling (or yowling) at intruders!

Spring has sprung……..and we think you two in one basket means you probably don’t NEED a heated bed or any other heat – you’re making your own!! Tee Hee

We’re best buds most of the time. Once in a while we have a dust up and I have to remind Gus that I am in charge. He tries to sit on me.
