Sassy cats — Spring

Sasha is in the basket and Gus is on the heated pad.

Whiskers sitting in my kingdom.

Sasha here. The peep is cleaning up the yard and doing season transitional things. She took away our heated bed. Mostly we were sleeping next to it because it was too warm. Now it’s gone until October. I can smell chipmunks, squirrels and bird poop in the air. It must be spring! The next door cats are also more active. Sometimes they sit in my kingdom and I yell at them through the glass. They are dense.

No worries though. We can both fit in the basket.

It’s time to bring out the summer catnip (is there such a thing? If not, there should be!)

Have a great weekend!

  1. Well Sasha – if your weather is like ours (a “real feel” of 90 yesterday), I say time to put away the heating pad and just snuggle with Gus, or, as a last resort with the peep. Well bring on the catnip, it’s time for Summer and the cicadas. Don’t eat any of those – they are not treats like mousies. Leave the cicadas for Whiskers. πŸ™‚

  2. No heated beds, but it looks like cuddling will provide any heat needed. And those next door cats – they’re just jealous and want to come in and join you.

  3. Aah . . . Spring! Your heating pad is packed away until October . . . and I just boxed up my fuzzy slippers. πŸ˜€

Have a fun weekend yelling (or yowling) at intruders!

  4. Spring has sprung……..and we think you two in one basket means you probably don’t NEED a heated bed or any other heat – you’re making your own!! Tee Hee

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)
