It’s Sasha the magnificent! The peep had a small procedure on Thursday and had a bad reaction Friday morning. All is well now but I couldn’t get her to publish yesterday. (She has her priorities screwed up! You don’t sleep until Sassy Cats is done!) Anyhow we did all the things we could to help — sat on her chest, butt in her face, nipped her fingers — you know things you do to show love. I didn’t barf and no cat got sick (those were our gifts to her). She is still moving slow but we are back to normal or as normal as we get. We’ll be back next week.
Have a great weekend!

Not barfing was a great gift to your peep š Hopefully she is feeling better!

Remember, you need to make sure she recovers, she’s got the thumbs to open the food containers.

Yes, those very necessary thumbs.

She’s doing ok now but we still wake her up for breakfast. Don’t want her to get into any bad habits of sleeping in.

Point taken. Hope you at least give her a chance to ease into the regular routine.

You guys are doing so good. I’m sure she appreciates the help. And I’m sure you will demand that appreciation shown in treats when she feels better!! Hope she feels well soon. Keep up the good work.

I sent a message, “Glad you are back upright”. but I don’t know if it went. Jim M

It did. Since you comment as “Someone” your comment goes for approval first to make sure it’s not spam. I have to review, hence the lag. Today is the first day I’ve felt normal (or as normal as I get). Never take health for granted!

Hope the Peep is doing better now Sasha – I thought Reader was messed up again and went on the actual blog site to look for your post. So, apologies to WordPress this time. š

We just a good long nap with her, one of us on each side so she couldn’t move. She loved it.

Oh noooo! Can’t have the Lady Peep down for the count. I am reading that she is okay, just grumpy. Grumpy is a good thing in this situation. No barfing until she is feeling like herself… promise?

Ok, no barfing for now. I barf my breakfast when I eat to fast. Gus barfs a hairball now and then.

Gus is watching her now. We take turns. She’s drinking her mocha so she’s feeling better.

Sasha, be kind to your peep, please. Don’t forget she is the source for your food!! I hope she feels better soon, but in the meantime, be kind, okay?

I am. I serenated her this morning at 6 a.m. She likes that. It’s the pre-breakfast warm up.

Grumpy is fine and especially after any “procedure”. Doesn’t matter what it is, it throws our rhythm off. I’m sure Sasha will make it known when she feels you’ve had enough recovery time!! That photo of the lovers is just so dang adorable………..
Hope you’re back to 150% soon!
Hugs, Pam
