And happy birthday to the beloved husband! We’ve been celebrating the entire month (that’s a family tradition. We have birthday months instead of days). That’s a good thing as this week, with a sick cat, everything is off.

I hope your Thanksgiving Day turned out to be really lovely, despite the frozen turkey dilemma and Hazel’s illness. Even celebrating a birthday for a month can be a lot! I think I would have been tempted to just forego the celebrating and schedule a nice nap! 🙂

Turkey defrosted just fine. Birthday celebration (at our age) is low key for sure. There were naps! 🙂

Happy birthday month to your husband. My daughter celebrates birthday month. She’s with us right now and still celebrating her birthday on the 12th. The day after her celebration is over is the beginning of mine. Mine would never outshine hers.

Yes, one in the winter and one in the summer! I was always so jealous of friends who had summer birthdays and could celebrate with outdoor parties.
