Unexpected and fabulous!! I loved this video. Gene Simmons is always a surprise to me! I think I appreciate him more and more as I get older–and so does he. 🙂
This is fantastic. I think Gene Simmons is helping to make patriotism “cool” again. It never ceases to amaze me that people are brave enough to go fight for my sorry butt and everyone else’s. the least we can do is make sure they are warmly welcomed and thanked everywhere across the country.
Me too! Too many times we forget the intent of the day. It’s not really about making a long weekend! I thought it was really cool for them to entertain the troops.
It is raining here. We have no plans for tomorrow. Family is far away and we don’t gad about much. So nice to hear those songs. My father was in the army and I was one of the brats.
I feel it is appropriate to think solemn thoughts during this weekend.
But then lift your heads and hearts and celebrate the wonderful troops we are fortunate to have. They are the living and need all the support they can get.
Thanks for that. A good way to start the day. Reminded me of my days in the service. I fought the “Cold War!” It was bad enough; not much danger of loss of life, but a danger non-the-less!
