Ace reporter Gracie here: It’s been a hectic week. The peeps had a lot going on so we did not get our normal attention. Dinner was late a few times but it did show up. There were funerals and house shopping sprees! Even some painting! Lady peep says moving is hard work!
Here is a slightly blurry pictures of Sasha and Morgan. Looks like they are gossiping to me. Probably trying to figure out how to steal my food!
Everyone here wishes you all a great weekend!
Love the lovers! (And all of your cats, of course.)

Dear Gracie,
Hope your peeps get a break and some downtime! And also that you all get your usual attention, of course π

I make sure I get my attention. First things first!

Definitely gossiping
Hope the weekend was good. (Why does it seems we just get even busier once in retirement – the younger set all seem to think all “old” people do is sleep!)

Gracie: We cats are all napping but one peep is painting and the other is pulling weeds.

Oscar here – (I allow Maggie to share my house with me) – I was beginning to think that I was the only one who slept with his (or her) forehead planted firmly on the ground. Maggie worries about me. Maybe now she won’t.

Gracie here: Maggie shouldn’t worry. We like to sleep in weird ways. Sometimes I sleep like a pretzel. It’s only important that I get my 18 hours a day.

Yeah, they look guilty Gracie. I would watch my food closely if I were you.

That’s about the pet food shortage. Fortunately my peeps are on an automatic delivery system and they plan for the regulars. There was a shortage at the beginning of the pandemic too but the delivery was only delayed a few days. Fingers crossed because we get grumpy without our favorite food.

That’s great Gracie – your peeps won’t let you starve because they are on top of things! P.S. – I’d be grumpy too.

Dear Gracie – on the evening news I heard there was a pet food shortage, but only for those pet food manufacturers who keep selling their food in cans and not in plastic containers and pouches. I know the Peep is on top of keeping your tummies full of food and treats in all those nice Chewy boxes.

Oops! I saw the follow up message to this and commented there. So far we are in good shape food wise. We get monthly shipments (sometimes it seems like tractor trailer loads!) of all the basics — food, litter, treats and the occasional doo-dah!

That’s good – thank goodness for the availability of cat and dog food simply by ordering online.

House shopping sprees… that sounds like fun! Always nice to see the Sassy Cats on Friday. Gracie, I like to curl up with my head tucked in under my cabana towel. Have a nice weekend Sassy Cats and Peeps!

Peep here. This moving is a lot of work especially when the house needs some attention. With covid everything is harder, takes longer and is more expensive. I’m not moving again! We did buy a carpet for the “conservatory.” Won’t come in for a month.

Human-watching is exhausting work……I try to nap as much as possible and not get caught up in their drama ! I think The Lovers and Gracie know what I’m talkin’ about!!!!

Maybe I should give Gracie “head in” position a try . . . I might get a better night’s sleep. Then again I might wake up with a crick in my neck.
Happy Friday! (Sorry you had a funeral this week).
