We sure need a laugh these days – I realize I should have kept my squirrels washing their paws for now, but I have a few feathered friends photos that can be a timely post for these trying tines while sending out a giggle as well. I am catching up in Reader and read this funny post by fellow blogger Margy which is chock full of TP memes: https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/99108485/posts/2631133982
I have really enjoyed the laughs that I’ve gotten from my Facebook feed (I think I’ve seen all the ones you posted… except for the best one of your cats 🙂 ). We all need to maintain our sense of humor.
Finally, I understand why cats always unroll the toilet paper. Does the lack of toilet paper in stores mean that all cat owners bought new treadmills? LOL.
Love the memes I’ve seen on FB too……and it’s important we try to maintain our sense of humor while still doing the things we MUST and NEED to do right now. Love that last photo – too precious.
I hit “like” and got distracted when SSNS was asking me about refilling the simple human soap dispenser! I ordered refills directly from simple human… it was the only hand soap I could find. But now we are able to buy plain old hand soap. No hand sanitizer though, that’s fine I don’t like it anyway. So, I am back to tell you the last picture is darling! Cracking up over the cat treadmills. Should have always suspected the shortage of TP was related to cats! All our beaches are closed, about time. Spring breakers are out of here and quite a few snowbirds have left, all of a sudden we are seeing TP back on the shelf, don’t know if there is any connection. Hope the Sassy Cats get some porch time!
I don’t like sanitizer either. Much prefer to wash with soap. I hear it’s more effective. TP maybe related to the snowbirds. Older folks seem to hoard more. Glad they closed the beaches. We’ve been seeing pictures of kids on top of either other (not literally) at the Florida beaches for spring break. Not good at all. The memes floating around right now are really funny. We have to laugh.
We will see how much resistance there is to closing the beaches. A few don’t close until 6 tomorrow morning. It was ridiculous they were left open. I’m just talking about beaches in our county of Sarasota. I’m not sure about the rest of Florida. Yeah, I don’t think the kids gave a rip about TP!
Exactly. We will see what they do for the Easter influx here. I’m hoping with the requests to stay home people will do just that for Easter break here. Our neighbor had 32 people coming for the first two weeks of April. They all cancelled.
Glad you are staying inside. The kid and I have been on lockdown for more than a week. The husband? LOL. The whole state is supposed to stay home and yet… His employer has a loophole due to some defense industry work, and so that means his whole company will continue to report to work until they are all infected or dead.
Right? I told him this weekend we need to work on wills and insurance policy beneficiaries. It’s pretty depressing to talk to your kid about which family/ grandparent he would like to live with, just in case. And even more depressing to say, “Okay now, give me your second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth choices, just in case.”
My dad died when I was 10. I know all about the “who do you want to live with” speech. It knocked me for a loop and upset me a lot. I just wanted to be with my mom and making any other decision wasn’t right.
Well, I think Baby D still thinks of it as unlikely but an interesting mental exercise, because he has not been knocked for a loop. Right now he’s calculating which relative would be most likely to spoil him and let him get away with murder.
I do too. Surprisingly I’ve never had a cat that played with toilet paper but I’ve had friends with cats that did. Paper all over the house except in the bathroom.
haha! Great post.

We call that ‘cat hair-do’, in the first photo, that each cat gives the other cat hair-do. The cat treadmills are funny!

Reminds me of when I my mom used spit to get my bangs to behave. Yuk!

I love it too even though it was a dog one. The cats laughed so they forgive me.

No, her Mom and a sister also have a condo here. Personally, I would be staying at Inn at the Beach… too peopley in the condos.
