Sunday marks the one year anniversary of Sasha joining the household. We’ll do a year in review next Friday. The cats are “curating” their photos and there is always the “are my whiskers curly here?” or the “does this make my butt look big?” to deal with. Someone stole my hair dryer to fluff their tail!
In the meantime here are some photos that come under the “Move along now! Nothing going on here.” Cats are like kids when there are a few and there is no noise, something’s up.
That’s Sasha on the bottom and Gracie on the top. Nope, nothing going on.

Sometimes cat grass doesn’t make it out of the bag but nothing is going on.

Aw. So cute I love the window one. (and hoping our cat grass grows faster – RC is getting annoyed and probably grumbly tummy…of course the local source of ready to eat grass has changed suppliers and HRH hates what they have now…insisting staff do some indoor gardening…or else)

Our local supply recently went from $1.99 to $2.99. It’s small and skimpy too. Once in a while they’ll use a broad blade that the cats don’t like. They like the thin stuff.

I’m lucky I caught it. I take hundreds of pictures (mostly blurred noses and tails) to get one.

Sasha was such a perfect addition to the group. You just never know when you introduce a new personality. The last picture of her is beautiful.

You never know. I’ve only had one really testy cat that did not like new adds. Jake was fussy but there was only one cat he didn’t like and that was the testy cat. All the rest like a new playmate except for Mollie who gives me stink eye.

Catching my animals in mid-action is probably the only reason I would ever want a super expensive camera. Or to catch the hawk flying in and out of the tree cross the street.

These are great photos. Sasha has such a sweet face. There’s never a dull moment when you have more than one cat in the house. I always checked to see what mine were up to when they were too quiet too.

Sometimes they are all (or mostly) sleeping. Then again someone has stolen my husband’s guitar picks. Still can’t find them.

Some great “move along, nothing going on” Sassy Cat pictures. Second picture is adorable. They are all adorable but I just like the slightly more adorableness of it. Wishing the humans and the Sassy Cats a peaceful, nothing going on kinda weekend.

It is hard to believe that it is only a year since Sasha joined your family. Seems like she has always been there. The picture on the porch looks like Sasha is in a fish tank! I love that last picture of Sasha. It is portrait perfect.

Sasha says it’s been a busy year full of people training. The peeps are slow on the uptake but they are catching on slowly! She’s a great teacher.

I’ve never thought in terms of animals also having extrovert/introvert tendencies. That would be quite an adjustment for the other cats if they are all introverts!

Gracie and Morgan (the grays) are very outgoing. Poor Mollie is just old. My old cat Hazel was an introvert for sure.

I’ll talk more about it next week but this was the perfect place for her. She is a very social cat. I don’t think she would have been as happy adopted as the only pet in a family where no one was home all day. She loves her Gracie but will snuggle with the other two too. Some cats are not solitary at all.

She did very well living in the cattery of the adoption group, and was less happy being alone at my place. So she’s landed in just the right spot!
