Sasha is an easy cat to photograph. She enjoys the attention and with her black and white contrast, she always looks great. There are the blurred shots when she gets too playful but for the most part, it’s all good.
Here she is peering around the back of the chair! It’s just a slight blur but not too bad.

Only Mollie photographs as easily. The grays are a challenge. The lighting has to be right. Then they have to be perfectly still. And the photographer can’t be clumsy!

OhMyGosh, I am so happy you gave her a home, Kate What a shame it would have been to have her where that didn’t happen to her because she was always hiding. ZCat loved to have me scoop her up and put her on her back in my arms and give her belly smooches.

On my second latte of the day after a workout. The cats are getting new catnip toys. The beloved husband found some of his guitar picks (under the fridge). It’s a great start to the weekend!

She wants some more interesting backdrops to spice things up. We’ll see. She has two cat trees and a bunch of yurts. Every bed in the house is hers and so is the furniture. Maybe I should buy her a cell phone so she can take her own picts.

Our b&w cat was also photogenic. The black cat sometimes barely showed up in pictures.

Black cats are tough. Jake took wonderful pictures if the lighting was perfect. He was sleek and shiny and that shine picked up light.

They do. Mollie, with her tortie coloring, photographs beautifully except for her scowl. She didn’t use to look so grumpy and it’s what made me run a whole battery of tests last fall. Came up with zilch although my current theory is that she may have reflux. That would be hard to diagnose without her telling us. Yes, my hypochondria extends to my cats.

She’s eating and drinking on both sides and although she doesn’t like it being bathed very much, she doesn’t fight. Hubby does that as she’ll lie quietly for him whereas she’ll move her head away if I do it. At least I can get her to take her meds though (treat time of course). She is a good girl for us though.
