The tree and all the decorations came down this week. The cats could no longer curl up under the tree and bat off the occasional ornament. They decided to catch up on some shuteye in front of the fireplace.
Clearly Sasha was pretty stressed out by it all! Even a crazy lady waving a camera couldn’t wake her up.
Mollie came downstairs to lend support. And yes, the fire was going.

I think the holidays did me in. I’ve been just about as active as the cats, but not nearly as adorable!

Cats seem to like to twist up! All healthy (and loved) cats are beautiful. It’s the ones that don’t get enough food or are not healthy that don’t look so good. Just like people!

Yep – Ted is apparently exhausted and stressed out as well from the holidays – lots of sleeping happening (while his parents do a ton of packing/rearranging/cleaning) – remind me to come back as a spoiled cat in my next life………….

She is. She takes a low dose of a cortisone every other day and it’s made a big difference both in activity and eating.

I had to look up lametta and it’s like tinsel! I didn’t know anyone still used it. Hope you packed it in a box they mysteriously got put in the trash!

We didn’t do a tree this year. Less work for me, but pretty sure the cat gave me the stink eye because there was no pine-scented water bowl–nor was there a piney bush to hide inside.

I haven’t had a real one in decades. I told them if I didn’t put one up, I would put the tree skirt down so they could sleep on it! It’s velvety. Something about it they like.

That would have been the perfect title for this post “wheels up!” These two cats often do wheels up. The grays, not so much. They are more loaf cats.

They have no fear and that’s great. Well, Sasha is fearful of strangers. Stranger-danger and all that. Mollie is an old cat. She doesn’t care about much.
