I thought about that and no, no other matching carpets. The cats prefer not to have anything matching because it makes their hairballs look bigger and more prominent and that helps with their self esteem or so it seems.
We had 2 Golden Retrievers who matched the carpeting. They were huge shedders but the place always looked spotless (if you don’t count mud or accidents). Great idea to match pets with the decor. 😊
I don’t know how she did it, but my tuxedo kitty managed to transfer her black fur onto my light-colored clothes, and her white fur onto my dark-colored clothes. 😄 It looks like you can get rid of your vacuum cleaner now that you’ve matched Hazel perfectly… but how do you keep the others off the floors… or, is your other carpeting gray?
It’s the Where’s Waldo cat version!
She suggested this in your sleep. Cats are so sneaky…oh, that was clever and wise RC. Clever and wise.
(and we are still considering couch colors…sleeping is dangerous…)
Like those fur collars on wool coats of old. Excellent idea! (I hate looking for couches…found one, but the reviews and complaints about the retailer has backed us off. Sigh)
I didn’t realize how well I did that until I took the picture. The really great news is that this carpet does not stain. We had 2 barfs on it already and no marks at all.
That’s a pretty good idea. If she didn’t blink once in a while though, she might get stepped on by accident. I’d never thought of the carpet idea, I’ve seen people with bedspreads that matched the animal color though.
Haha, a perfect match!

very witty pic !!!
My grandmother used to come to stay wearing a black and white tweed skirt so as not to show our dalmatian’s black and white hairs…

Now that’s taking the concept a step further.

Do your other cats now have an inferiority complex….or are there matching carpets for them in other rooms?

I knew you could do that. But we didn’t bring our pets – just tufts of their hair.

That works. Unless all the pets are different colors!

It’s working for me. It even matches their barf.

The carpet only works with Hazel so there is gray, black and white fur hanging around.

We matched our living room carpet to the dog we had at the time.

She’s not. If there is no food offered as a reward, she’s outta there!

Great match! We have a dark brown carpet to hide the spills and sometimes it hides our cat as well!

The first carpet with the multi-color really worked well. We have it in the dining room too and it covers food spots well.

Dark tweed for your couch. A little fluffy fur will enhance it.

Customer feedback is a double edged sword. Mostly only the dissatisfied write.

Now you just need to keep any new cats in the future in mind in terms of color!

You could never step on Hazel. She’s too big to miss.
