Very strange cats. That box was on the bed for a few days and NO ONE jumped in for a nap. Perhaps the shoe smell turned them off? Then again they love my shoes.
Mollie looks like a beauty queen, Hazel looks like an actual queen and Morgan looks like a kid looking for trouble, err fun. Yeah. Just fun, totally innocent, not gonna cause ANY problems, fun.
So glad Mollie (and YOU) are recovering from the near-miss emergency!

Yeah, me mostly. I took it so much harder than she did.

The benefit — and drawback — of a more developed sense of cause-and-effect, I suppose. And also linear time.

Cats (and most animals) take injuries in stride. It hurts, you go one with life and it heals. People obsess and overthink it.

Tigger loves a good box. He can’t resist jumping in ~ the grass is always greener INSIDE the box.

How is Morgan not IN the box?

Right on all counts. The odd thing is that no one took a nap in the box. They just scoped it out. It was empty and quickly they lost interest.

Poor Hazel looks like how I felt this morning after waking up at 2:00 am, tossing and turning. I finally got up at 3:30.

We’ve been looking like that all week. The heat is “supposed” to break today but the humidity to close to 100%. Still uncomfortable.
