I’m still recovering from a wonderful vacation. Here is a comic strip from one of my favorite cartoonists, Patrick McDonnell. It says it all!
Over the summer a few bloggers have nominated me for awards. In the past, I have completed the boring personal information part of the acceptance (I bet you are relieved!). However, I do need to give some great bloggers credit.

Thanks to playful meanderings for the Lovely Blog Award. She is a new blogger (at least new to me) who writes on a variety of topics. Her blog is also very beautiful.

The comic strips does say it well! I understand! I’ve been home long enough from our July vacation that I now think it’s appropriate that I move forward with plans for another one! Congrats on all awards. They can be very affirming!
